Kurt Oldman
Marco Polo (Complete Score)
Little Pie Music, 2007

LINKS DELETED, NOT RE-UPPING
Note: I have yet to see this film (since it seems to be hard to find period) but upon hearing the samples from Kurt Oldman's website I knew this was a score I had to have. For those of you who have heard and enjoyed (or not) Oldman's score for Babysitter Wanted as much as I have then you will absolutely enjoy this score. This score was written and recorded two years before BW came out so you'll see where some of Oldman's horror musical skills started but before you dig in, know in advance that this is not a BW clone. It does have its similarities but there are more than enough differences for it to stand on its own. I had been trying to obtain a copy of the score for about a year but Oldman himself told me the score was bound to the studio and was not able to be sent out. I received an email today saying that it is now available and here it is for all of you to enjoy! As is standard with my Oldman posts, there is a track sheet (there is one final track sheet, and two earlier track sheets which is pretty cool considering you get to see the various musical revisions).
Now here's to hoping Oldman's scores for Inferno, Stained, and 0000 become available. For those who have it please feel free to post them.
