I went in Gamestop today and they had a 3DS available to play. I played it and I like it. There's an option to turn the 3D off. I couldn't tell a big difference between 2D and 3D. Any way, the controls are responsive, the stylus is smaller. My only concern is about the battery life, I keep reading it's not very good. However, it wasn't enough to stop me from ordering a 3DS online. *Tip* If you get a 3DS, it's better to order it online. You'll save 20 bucks if you get free shipping and as a bonus I got a carrying pack and a car charger, a value of $300. I saved $50.

I played one at Best Buy a few weeks ago. All they had was Pilotwings on demo, but it was kinda neat to see regardless. When the 3D was on, though, it'd whack out if I moved the handheld even just an inch. Still planning on buying one, though.

I'm most concerned about the lack of any good games on the system.

Fixed that for you. Seriously, there's nothing right now.

It's just not many at launch. Street Fighter 3D is probably the 3DS's best launch game. Give it time for Resident Evil Mercenaries and Revelations and remakes and new titles.

There aren't many good games coming out for a little while yet. The point is you'd be better off waiting until they release a bundle or drop the price to compete with the NGP due out late this year.
