Anyone here buy from Gamestop? I find the prices ridicolous, I get better deals at walmart or online.
I will for used games, to avoid shipping.
Haven't been part of their "program" for a fair while.

I don't blame you. I regret going in the store today.
I was looking for another wii remote, wii jacket, and nunchuk for my wii and the service sucked. The guy didn't want to do anything.

I seem to be quite lucky, in that my Gamestop is one of the less shitty ones. People are generally nice(to my face anyway), and know what they're talking about. Like Neg however, I usually only go in for grabbing used games...it was the only way I was able to grab Ace Combat 1 and 2(Air Combat and Ace Combat 2, for those nitpickers, lol), and several Armored Core games.
I will never trade games to them, or have more to do with them than absolutely necessary, though...I'm not stupid, despite appearances. j/k

I get most of my games from Amazon, but I definitely still go to Gamestop for used games or if they have a good pre-order bonus on something I want. I met my closest friend out here at Gamestop, and I generally have good experiences with their staff. People there always want to have actually conversations, which activates my SOCIAL AWKWARD, but is probably good for me.
When it comes to games, Walmart isn't an option for me. Their selection is ridiculously poor. Target and Best Buy are a little better, but not by much, and none of them are viable options for most of what I buy. Gamestop isn't great about stocking niche titles, but they do an okay job.

Yes, for brand new games. No, for used games. I hate having to peel off the stickers from the game cases.

Seems that the gamestop i go to is pretty good, compared to the ones in the U.S.. They're helpful, know what they're talking about and the games are usually pretty cheap (for Ireland).

I go when there's good deals to be found there. Sometimes even on the hunt for those odd ball titles I'm missing. I don't mind used too much as I'll look at condition before even purchasing. Besides they had a great Buy 2 Get 2 free on PS2, Gamecube, and Gameboy Advance last week. So yeah...I don't mind them one bit.
