This has probably been done to death (like the Batman Begins score), but does anybody know of a complete edition of the score?

There's the two official releases, the 3CD editon (which I have, but just recently found out is not fully complete, and also contains bogus tracks from the DVD menus)...

There's also this version which I saw over at the Hans Zimmer boards:

Even within those posts in the link, there's talk of a supposed "true" bootleg version, with track names identical to those on the DVD, and not any of the soundtracks.

So, is there a true complete score? Or is this an identical situation as Batman Begins, The Last Samurai, The Da Vinci Code, Angels & Demons, Inception, the Pirates trilogy, and countless others?


...but, if I'm right in thinking that there is no complete score yet, could somebody post the correct chronological placement of the official cd's and or the 3CD version? It's really bugging me that the music isn't in it's correct order.

I have a 42 track version @ 320

I have a 3CD version. Mine doesn't have any sfx/dialogue at all. Its a very good edition. This one I think is the same.

No fx, no dialogue. Clean as a whistle. Track list has to wait, on my way out, won't be home for several hours.

What you just listed is the first 2 discs of my 3 disc version, totaling 63 tracks in all.

So... nobody has any new stuff?

Can we have disc 3 pleas? I doubt there is any more than that available.

Are the tracks actually re-edited, or just rearranged? In any case, I don't really have the desire to have an edited version of what I already have.

If the tracks are in a different order, though, I would very much appreciate you posting the track list.

Well. I put like the "Alternate/Short" versions of the cues at the end, and some needed combining so yeah, some are re-edited. I can give you a track list if you like but its different from this as I renamed a bunch of the edited tracks, but its from this edition.

Don't post a track list if it's an imposition or something.

Dude, you're missing track 16, "Sorrow" on Disc 1. Don't know if it is track 16, but there is a gap between 15 & 17

To answer the above, yup it is in the film. Plays in the background when Maximus goes into the tent after the battle, washes hands, speaks to Quintus, then is interrupted by Commodus and the senators. It definitely isn't Hans Zimmer.

Here's a high quality version of The Campus. It comes from the band Synaulia. They have whole albums of this stuff.

The original name of the song is "Etruria." They just looped it some more in the film.

The "More Music From Gladiator" contains some dialogue, the requested version should be complete clear.

If I would own this release I could give you an approval about the quality. A long time ago it was shared somewhere but the links are dead.

I found quite strange COMPLETE SCORE for GLADIATOR. Probably this is the complete score with sfx and probably I found it at http://hanszimmerscore.blogspot.com which is inactive now. :(
