Terra's Theme... YES!!! There's an OC Remix called "Terra In Black" that is worth the download, and is awesome (even if people keep on calling it a MIDI in my household.)
Heck, any variation of the above theme is good.

I'm not far enough in FFX yet to comment on that, but I really like the battle theme, and quite a few other tunes I've heard so far aswell. And there's a lot more FF music that I liked, these are just some of my very favourite tunes off the top of my head. ;)

Favourite FF music, eh? Whew, that's a hard one, as all the tracks are performed brilliantly. The enitre FFVII + VIII OST's I enjoy, most specifically FFVII - One Winged Angel (What can I say? Sephiroth's theme is just awesome.) Aeris's Theme and the main theme. FFVIII - Liberi Fatali, Man with a Machinegun (Laguna's Theme), Fisherman's Horizon, The Oath, Fragments of Memories and the piano version of Eyes on me.

Earlier FF's? FFI - Matoya's cave. FFIV and VI - All of the tracks.

Lastly, but not least, I have to admit, I enjoy Otherworld (Zanarkand intro and Jecht's Theme.)

Which one do you mean? The theme that plays when you're in control of Beatrix and Steiner in Alexandria's main street during the attack, or when you return there afterwards with the airship?

For the former, the piece is called Protecting My Devotion, which is an awesome rearrangement of Beatrix's theme Rose of May (a beautiful theme in itself.).

However, the theme I think you're referring to is Unrequited Love, that slow baroque sounding piece played on strings and a harpshicord, which earlier in the game appeared during the scene between Zidane and Garnet in the Inn at the Black Mage Village during disc 2 (the scene where he tells her about his childhood.). I agree with you, it is a very emotional piece that always brings a tear to my eye whenever I hear it.
