I recently downloaded a soundtrack from a link through this website, however I am unable to open it as the file extension is 7z. I have a macbook, and I am stuck as to how to convert it to a usable file type suitable for, say, itunes. Any help would be greatly appreciated!

It is a 7zip format. As you can guess you can open it via 7zip or Winrar. I do not recommend to "convert" it in any aspect...
Besides this is not the right place to ask about this.
