Oh yes i agree. It's a visually beautiful film with a gorgeous palette of colours, but the story is just ridiculous and the CGI is mediocre at best.
I like the music. I'm not a big fan of Badelt but i liked this one. It's curious how the music was sequenced on album because the main themes are introduced one at the time on the first tracks. But is an enjoyable listen despite it's long length.

Somewhere in the credits there should mention of the person in charge of 'drapes'.... does this film have long, fluttering, chromatic drapery. Apparently not only did it bomb in America, but in China as well. It also destroyed the country side during its filming- thus it was not an eco-friendly production. ;-) But OH that magnificent sequence 'Princess Kite' with the woman in the cloak of feathers cascading across a Maxfield Parish sky!!!!! The music, the imagery; all magnificent. Yet doesn't make a particle of sense. This remains Badelt's finest effort.

(I think the CGI is fine... the goddess with the golden ring spinnging above her already floating body is something to see... ONCE)

I agree... This is Badelt's best to date... Maybe somewhere in this universe someone has a complete score...
