If you will, we will do to. Please next time you make a topic something like this also say why you like it in the first place. No one liners please :)
I like it as well, the characters are a little odd but oh well :B The job changing thing is good Imho; I had fun with it although the leveling up of the jobs take a bit too long Imo. The story is kinda alright as well ;)

I haven't finished Final Fantasy V yet... Must put that somewhere on my "To Do" list...
The best thing about it is the job system, and the fact that you can create unique characters from the list of powers you gain during the game. The characters aren't as deep as what you get in Final Fantasy VI, and the fact there are only a handful of them and your party is more or less constant helps keeping everyone levelled at the same level and also detracts from potential depth or open-ness in the storyline.
If any of that makes any sense...

FF5 came close to being my favourite FF, I'll rate it just behind FF8. The main reason I liked it was for the job system; this allowed you to customise your charcaters however you liked them. By combining different jobs with different commands, you can do whatever you want.
The story wasn't exactly the most interesting ever, but it was easy to follow and there were some funny moments. There were also some really stupid points in the game that were funny because of their stupidity (Galuf watches Mid slap Cid and fully regains his memory, for example). But I guess it's one way of doing it... ;)
And it had some really great music aswell; Battle with Gilgamesh being one of my favourite FF tunes ever now. :)

What most I liked about FF5 was the job system; the ability to change jobs and ablities to impliment your strategy and take advantage of enemy weaknesses was pivitol to your success in the game. The music was not bad, either. :)

I love the battle system, to be more specific the job system. So original for its time, it made the game I think.

The best thing about this game is the job system, it let's make your party as you desire giving it a strategical flavour. Though leveling the job levels take too long after a certain point. But the story is very good and I enjoyed the battles, and I liked the music.
Well I am half-way through it, its ok. (According to a ps I have FFV is suppossed to be the Darkest Final fantasy)

The job system was neat, I also liked some of the story elements like how [spoiler start]Cara could talk to chocobos and also when Galuf got all crazy on Exdeath and then all of his powers got transferred over to Cara. Also the multiple endings.[spoiler end]

The oh so addictive job system and the 2 optional bosses, Omega and Shinryu.
The job's got me hooked to the end, I played till I mastered it all. I really enjoy the challeging bosses at the last dungeon. They were tough bosses but you get raganorok from shinryu and well nothing from omega cept a medal saying that you beat him.

Final Fantasy V is a pretty good game in my opinion. The first time I started to play it I didn't like it that much, but over Thanksgiving I got into it bigtime. The characters and the job abilities are pretty phat. The opening theme I also like, especially the orchestrated version. Sounds nice :D

Hmm, first time I've seen a "double post" in a single post. In any case, I couldn't agree more. The opening theme, "Ahead on Our Way," is one of my favorites from the game and from the Final Fantasy series overall.

Yeah, that color thing messed me up. I think I'll nix it. Everytime I listen to the orchestrated theme, it just makes me want to weep, I don't know.

well, I've liked FF5, but I'm rather stuck in it o_O So I can't say that it is my favorite since I'm procrastinating it...
But I did like how you don't have to do all that worrying about who you put in your group and take where o_O
