This is a really interesting release, especially for '6m24 Car Chase' as I don't think it even matches what was in the film (the climax of the car chase was lifted straight from Supremacy's score with no alterations, I believe). Although I like the Supremacy soundtrack a lot, this version would have helped Ultimatum sound a little more distinctive.

the "car chase" track is the same as in the movie : same theme as in the end of "bim bam smash" (moscow chase) from Bourne Supremacy but a lower tempo , it's a variation of the theme

I justly abandonned to listen the official release because I don't like that much how it is sequenced + mostly: it sounds much too powerful. Damn processing from the film score industry !!! It is obviously compressed with peak limiting to sound more powerful (and the equalization suffers a lot from this).

Now I'm gonna enjoy this, at first glance it looks much more listenable... WOW.

Very very wrong tracklist !

First, "Meetings" has the wrong name and wrong place. There's no music during the meeting at the beginning of the movie. The cue's used later in the movie when Bourne arrives in NY. On Ascap, the cue is called "Your Party is Waiting" and should be placed between Morgue and Contact Marie. Contact Marie is a wrong name too, as Marie's dead, the real name of the cue (based on Ascap) is simply "Contact".

"Bonus Cue" isn't a bonus, but is the cue for the final sequence, called on album "Jason is Reborn" and on Ascap "Bourne Adrift". It's up to you to decide which one's best ! :D

"B and E" is in fact the end credits music, and if it was originally meant to be used during the movie, it could have hardly been placed before Car Chase because it doesn't sync with anything there... And then should be considered as the "Bonus Cue".

Yes, and I HIGHLY recommand the 26 tracks Expanded at 192kb/s you'll find easily around (thanks soundtracksharity whose the links are from), rather than the 25+19 tracks "Complete" at 320kb/s that has been posted in the FFshrine before. All the added tracks on the complete are useless and spoil the listening experience (becomes boring). The Expanded offers the must-have selection and I have the feeling it sounds better, like if the sound has just a little more substance... I'd love to know how it has been ripped and from wich sources !!! One more reason I hate to deal with mp3's that anybody use to f*ck with ! (and the rough -demo- copies on the complete are awful quality btw).

No lossless expanded Supremacy at large though.

Btw, I wanted to remaster the 192kb/s version of Supremacy but I observed it was adventurous, mostly when some of the tracks reached their peack limit pretty fast (Goa Chase for instance).
What I did then was to lift the volume for almost all the tracks (approx +2db) and cut all the silences for it fits on one CD (I had to edit & cut the begining of a track though)...

I confirm... hoping it won't bring an army of request for Darkashram to deal with: The "Bourne Supremacy" remastered is seriously done and is the best version to care about as we never heard about a lossless complete or expanded set... Let me say it again: It is SERIOUS stuff.

I'm not saying this to be kind toward Varese, but I highly recommand to buy the original soundtrack too. It's the best done release of the three with tasty selection, editing, and pretty good sound. Actually, I think it's the must have among the Bourne scores.

Hey guys, I've found several expanded Supremacy and Ultimatum scores over the past few months, but I'm really looking for one with the "Hotel Brecker" track (the one used when Bourne is in the cafe searching for Neski) Can anyone help?

Just thought I should mention, Ive ran TBU FLAC files through a spectral analysis and its NOT lossless. Some tracks are (the ones from the commercial CD) but the rest of the FLAC files are encoded from MP3s.

So no true lossless version exists yet!

Also, with so many different coverarts, none of them match to the one posted here. Some tracks are also missing, one called He's in Tangier and Thinking of Marie too.

I knnow there are proper 2cd versions for both Supremecy and Ultimatum - from proper recording sources (be it from a oscar promo score or from recording sessions, i don't know) but does anyone know if there is a promo/recording sessions for the first movie - identity? As the only extended or 2cd's i have found have been the original release cd and bootleg or dvdrip tracks, and i'de love to get a complete of this but from a good source?

Yeah, I had screenshots up earlier of the scan results from Adobe Audition, showing the spectral analysis.
Also did a scan with TAU Software's "auCDtect".

Did you find another source for this one ? (Full lossless I mean).

Anyway, I leveled everything that needed to be on that score, reedited some tracks and made my way to un-expand it: 75min fitting on one CD with no annoying long "empty" segments or repetitive music is the best experience I've been able to obtain for that score. Full entertainment.

About remastering I wonder if the album tracks haven't already been treated to calm it down on the 1st version you posted cause the original album looks to be more violent from this point of view. So, yeah, really just needed leveling and all ties together very well imho.

Edit: Would be very convenient for comprehension to explain for everybody what the remastering consisted in. I don't know for exemple if one stroke of graphic equalizer can be called remastering, and even though it requires somehow a few talents as really good ears, and to spot what's fucked up on the recordings. So please (to anybody who presents "remastered" stuff)... Explain ! ;-)

I thought I was the only one having this sort of confusions with all the differing track listings and numbers...I'd like to ask the same :)

So, does the original upload (or the updated one) feature all of the music from the commercial release, as well as all of the remaining music from the film? Is it missing some? Does the expanded version or another edition contain music from the film that this version doesn't have?

Unfortunately, this release for Ultimatum, just like Identity and Supremecy before it, are missing the final score music in the movie - the pieces i'm talking about are the very final pieces of score that lead right up to the start of the end credits and Moby's Extreme Ways, none of those pieces from all 3 movies (the movie versions) have ever been released, and i would LOVE to get my hands on them.

Yes, it probably is just you.

It sounds like your rar extractor cannot handle the contents within. Mine works fine. Either try a newer version of the one you currently use, or better still, get an alternate extractor.

It works fine with my Unarchiver, and Stuffit Expander.

Audition shows these files as lossy, the flac are the same as the mp3 can you stop giving me false hopes :( Is there a true lossless version out there? Every time the flac is re upped it's never real lossless

If you get hold of the Bourne Ultimatum complete score, the song "Contact" contains the cue from the end of the Bourne Supremacy that plays right before Moby's "Extreme Ways"
