Hope you enjoy.

UPDATE 08/10/2010: Dear friends and fellow Terrahawks fans. I have removed the link to the extras pack due to a few changes i'm making to it. I have found a better file for the Orchestral Version of the Terrahawks Theme, as soon as i've finished converting it i'll post a new link. I'll also post a separate link for the isolated file so that those who have downloaded the pack don't need to do so again. Any other material will be placed in Extras Pack 2. I'll make this ASAP.

UPDATE 09/10/2010: Change of plans. The new file i found was a video on youtube (don't let it fool you, the quality of sound is excelent), posted by user TimeForHouse, and was going to convert it but TimeForHouse posted a download link to the Mp3 in 320 kbps quality. A major improvement. This is the link to the video
YouTube - ROYAL PHILHARMONIC ORCHESTRA - THEME FROM TERRAHAWKS (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qa2loiHUl9g)
Those that already have the Extras pack can find the DL link in the description, just bellow the video. And drop a thanks to TimeForHouse.
Those that haven't, i'll repack the extras with the new file and post the new link ASAP. In any case drop by the video link and thank the guy for his work.

UPDATE 09/10/2010 Part 2: New Extras pack uploaded, content modified accordingly (written in bold). Enjoy.
P.S.: As a note to those who noticed it, the orchestral track is now 3m12s. The previous indication of 4m38s was a typo, sorry about that.

UPDATE 08/03/2012: Re-Uploaded the TH score, remaining files to follow ASAP. :)

Thank you for these.

Although I already have a copy of the soundtrack, I do not have the nook and it is really appricated.

As I am now downloading and have yet to listern to the extras, there is a possibility that you are missing the old 12inch viynal release.

I have this release myself, but do not have a USB record player to convert into MP3.
What I do know is that the main theme is approx 4-5 mins long and features Nienstein intro (and if i remember Zelda's talking)
The b side is the most important as it is just over 7 mins and features a number of cues including Hudson's royal royce them, all blending into the end theme of "O & X".

The B-side does sound like it was broken down over a number of tracks on the Fanderson CD release.

Correction: The sleeping Astronaughts version of the Terrahawks theme is what was on the 12 inch release.

Hawkwing Launch suit makes up part of the 7min track from the B-side of the 12 inch, what follows after the hawkwing launch is Hudson's theme.

Macdawson, you are a legend! Thank you so much for this! This music is GOLD! I look forward to hearing it in better quality.
Thank you also for the effort of ripping your CD for me. And the booklet. And the various versions of the very cool Terrahawks theme!
I hope I can return the favor someday.

Take care and thanks again!

Great stuff, but why on earth are you resampling to 48khz?

At the time i thought 48 was better than 44,1. Being that i'm not an expert on this kind of stuff i just put the settings on what i thought was the best possible quality. Maybe you can give me some tips, i'm always willing to learn. :)

Thanks for this little beauty, i have just been looking at the DVD boxset on ebay should i? you know the feeling

I bought the Region 1 boxset because i'm a nostalgic sucker and hoped for some better extras. I watch them now and then but most of the time i just use the DVDRips i got on the net. I even got the "Making The Unexpected" DVD for the same reason. :) Truth be told i found more "extra" material on youtube, from the very corny SOS, Mr. Tracy video to voice actor interviews.

My honest advice, wait. Don't get me wrong, i thing you should support the shows you love by buying their product (DVD, BluRay, CDs, Merchandise, etc.) but here's the deal. Hopefully, with the emergence of the BluRay market, a proper release (and by proper i mean remastered) will come. If they had done for Terrahawks what Network did for their DVDs of season 1 of Space:1999, then i would say "go for it!", even on DVD. On the flipside, it took a few years for Terrahawks to be released on DVD, being that it's not as popular as say Thunderbirds, so the same may happen now. And wether or not they'll remaster it is anybody's guess

For anyone interested, i'll be adding a link to an SFX pack. These have been edited and mixed by me from audio extracted from the DVDs. These include Ambient sounds (Spacehawk, Battlehawk, Zelda's complex, etc.), Zeroids speech Start/Stop, Alarms, Engine sounds, etc. These were edited and mixed by me, using whatever apps i have. I'm not a sound professional, just a fan, the reason for making these is that i just wanted them and if there are people out there who love this show as much as i do, they'll probably want them too. I'll post a couple of sample files before the big one, so you get an idea of what you get if you DL the pack. More new ASAP. :D

For your notes:
The Royal Philharmonic version of the Terrahawks theme is from the album Images: 18 Beautiful Instrumentals (http://www.discogs.com/Various-Images-18-Beautiful-Instrumentals/release/1631697) by K-Tel(!) and arranged by Richard Harvey.
I assume that the Stings and the theme w/ Ninestein are rips from the DVDs, and the Hawkwing Suite is a fan edit of the score?
Thank you again,
JonC

For the Notes: Hawkwing Suite

For those who lived in the UK when Terrahawks first appeared and were in the right place at the right time, would had found a 12" single release of the Terrahawks along with the standard 7" release

What the 12" release did was expand the Main them on Side A to 4 minutes while side B rana whooping 7 minutes and features various cues from the programme. Amoungst this 7 minute track was the when Zelad's mars base was shown, Treehawk Launch, Hudson theme, Hawkwing Launch & Battlehawk them joined as one great track and ending in the fantastic "o & x" theme at the end. Along the way you had some sound bites as well.

If I could copy this old record i would and share it, but sadly I cannot as I do not own anything like a record player and buying one just for one release doesn't make sense.

This is sadly the only real original Anderson/Burr music i own.

I just wish someone had done the Dick Spanner music.

You're absolutely right, JonC. I cut the stings from the DVDs, as they weren't in the CD, and the Hawkwing Suite is a montage i made shortly after i got the CD. I thought it was a nice meddley so i threw it in. The Theme with Ninestein in it just seemed right, and i'll probably be putting another version in a future release that was only used in a couple of episodes and, either by accident or design, the mix is slightly different. I'm not going to the extreme of adding the second Ninestein version that was used for most of the 2nd and 3rd seasons, as i was always partial to the original. Jeremy Hitchen just sounds a bit down in the new cut, the first is more enthusiastic. :D

I have a Vynil Rip of that. The reason i didn't put it up is that all the music in it was released in Fanderson CDs and is in this thread. But if anyone wants the rip, with the usual isses and clicks (not very severe, i've heard worse), i'll put it up.

Sorry to dredge up an old thread on this, I've only just discovered this wonderful place!

I never knew that the 12" single version was on the Sleeping Astronauts CD! I spent a fortune buying the 7" and 12" copies on vinyl from eBay and remastering them on my pc (I have a serious addiction to remastering from vinyl - currently on with Rock Revolution (Interceptor)). Just listening to it now, much better than the copy I cleaned up!

I did do one thing with my cd version of Terrahawks was to digitally enhance it by filtering it through to bring back a lot of the hidden sounds, make it slightly brighter and fresh, I'm much happier with it than the stock cd copy.

Will be checking out the extras pack, some of which I never heard and I thought I had everything!

Thanks guys!

Just currently upping the zip file, the best way to compare is listen to the main theme of yours then check mine, I was happy because I could extract the cd audio and highest bitrate without loss then digitally enhance then create the MP3 so you don't end up with digital wierdness.

On a side note I have the Orchestral version on vinyl if it's any help I can rip this and upload that.

Will post the link as soon as it uploads. Password is septemberrules.

@macdawson - just curious, I have all other albums where your extras came from .... the 7" version of the theme isn't the best quality, I bought the 7" and 12" versions from eBay and have digitally converted them up; would you like me to send you them to see if it's worth swapping them over. I also have the B side to the 12" which is basically a Terrahawks "Suite" which contains quite a lot of the music from the album, but as one long track.
