It's out February 26th in Japan at a price of 25000 (~$300US). It will be out in the US and everywhere else sometime in March. Edit: For those turned off by the price, I hear Japan's Prime Minister recently intentionally weakened the Yen against the dollar to improve exports and sales in the west. For example, the 120GB PS3 Slim currently costs $350 in Japan, versus the $300 it costs in the US. What this means is that it's possible the 3DS will cost somewhere around $250 when it launches in the US. That's all just speculation though and we won't find out until March what it actually costs.

They've released a new trailer (http://www.nintendo.co.jp/n10/conference2010/3ds/lineupMovHigh.html) for a 3DS, along with another one (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=RPuYwxudQ8A) showing off Street Fighter. There's also uh, this (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KC2QznyN-Bw) trailer for some dating sim.

They've announced a few more new games like Megaman Legends 3, Puzzle Bobble as well as a second Resident Evil game (http://www.capcom-unity.com/jgonzo/blog/2010/09/28/resident_evil:_the_mercenaries_3d_announced_for_ni ntendo_3ds) which will feature Mercenary missions from RE4 and RE5 (with online co-op and competitive modes).

Gameboy and Gameboy Advance games will be available on the system as an equivalent to Wii's virtual console.

If you've bought any DSiWare games, you will be able to transfer them to the 3DS.

Really, go to just about any gaming news website (or this live blog (http://www.andriasang.com/e/blog/2010/09/29/nintendo_conf_live_blog/)) and you'll see all this stuff and whatever else they had at the Nintendo conference.

I'm pretty pumped about this. The new RE games and MGS3 look great.

I like the SFII idea. Sitting on the train fighting someone in the next carriage would be wicked fun.

There's a rumour floating around that the 3D in MGS3 stops working when Big Boss gets stabbed in the eye. I hope that is the case (with the ability to turn it back on, obviously).

Also, it seems they've updated 3 to have a similar sneaking system to what's in 4 and Peace Walker (you can tell by the ring around Big Boss).

I hope that, if the 3DS costs, for example, 300$ in the USA, when it reaches our shores in Europe, doesn't cost 300€, like they did with the PS3.

It definitely looks interesting, but I'll only get this when they start showing some new games and not 3D remakes of older titles.

There's lots of new games coming out for it though. The 3D remakes are MGS3, OoT and Star Fox 64. Super Street Fighter IV is probably more like a port than a remake.

Hell to the truck yea! I'm buyin' it the day of its release here! Zelda: Ocarina of Time being released for it is enough motivation for me to buy one in itself~

Looks interesting, SFIV looks great. MGS3 on the other hand is kind of a dissapointing to me, I've expected something much better for the 3DS.

I'm gonna wait until a Slot-1 is made...maybe in a year from now.
