Hello!

I have compiled what I call a "Patchwork OST" due to the fact that the files were taken from multiple sources (to be cited later on in the post).

The particular OSTs in question are beatmaniaIIDX -SUPER BEST BOX- Vol.1 (http://vgmdb.net/album/16035) and beatmaniaIIDX -SUPER BEST BOX- Vol.2 (http://vgmdb.net/album/16036). As far as I've Google'd, there isn't a copy of either OST up for grabs, so I decided to recreate both OSTs from scratch by hunting down and putting together the tracks that were included in both OSTs. Of course, this goes without saying that the files have been encoded with different apps and at different bitrates by different people, so to the audiophiles who want consistency in the encoding method - grab it at your own risk, I suppose.

As far as tagging goes, I based the song title, artist, and specific genre (which gets crazy, for those of you familiar with it) off of this list for Vol.1 (http://www.konamistyle.jp/sp/bm2dx_super_best/list1.html) and this list for Vol.2 (http://www.konamistyle.jp/sp/bm2dx_super_best/list2.html) Tagging was done in iTunes 10.2.2.12 (formerly in 10.0.0.1), and both "Part of a Compilation" and "Gapless Play" are applied. Feel free to modify the tags according to your preference.

The album art was obtained from here for Vol.1 () and here for Vol.2. ()

Almost eight months later, I'm quite pleased to post that this project is now complete! :-D

Thanks for the effort. I always enjoyed the beatmania series songs, because they are so varied in style and some of those songs are so good. I always wanted to have a collection, but never had enough time for getting them all. Thanks again.
