PLEASE READ BEFORE CLICKING DOWNLOAD LINK:

Hello. Just wanted you to know that I was browsing the net & came across the Complete Score to Batman Returns. I am pretty sure that either it's a bootleg (most likely) or it was officially released out of the US (least likely, very very least of u ask me).

I browsed the net because I heard that with the success of the 1989 Batman expanded score that was recently released has done VERY WELL in sales & now, Batman Returns is getting its well deserved & long awaited expanded release. A site called Batman Movie Online. Just google search Batman Movie Online or Batman Returns Expanded & it'll be on the 1st page somewhere. They'll gibve a review of the 1989 expanded score & on the bottom, it'll say the expanded edition of Batman Returns will be released later this fall. Doesn't state the year so no one knows whether that is this fall (could be very likely), next fall (maybe next year, but I'm thinkin no). Regardless, till an official expanded score is released, you may enjoy this version that I found. Haven't downloaded it so I don't know if there's any SFX and/or dialogue, but I'm gonna go out on a limb & say no.

Who's to say that the expanded version will really have ALL the music cues heard in the film. This will allow future downloaders to know what they're gonna get. Don't get me wrong now. I'm not saying it won't. I hope it does. But to those who download this, I have one request & one suggestion.

REQUEST: please state whether ALL the film's cues are heard, This will allow future downloaders to know what they're gonna get once they download. Just bold the tracks heard in the film & in parenthesis, state where in the film the tracks are heard). Just makes life easier for everyone else. I mean, I'm sure you'd want the same thing. I, for one, hate it when this info is not given. And last but not least, ENJOY!!

and

SUGGESTION: if i were you, i'd keep this whether you get the official expanded score or not because this may contain something the official release doesn't

I bet so. I think this has been floating around a while, I think this is where I got my copy from, before I deleted it as having fx. Which, I think< is why we are all breathlessly awaiting the official complete later this year...

Hmm, every time I write a post and hit enter, it disappears....

Ah, there I go. Well, I think this is the same one I dled. Madman there responded as I was figuring out the tech problem. I had written a charming and pithy comment, but oh well. Yea, what HE said..;D

I think it is a dvd rip, that swaps out the commercial release tracks. All of the rip tracks have fx, and some minimal dialog echoes.

Yes I downloaded it, and it's pretty much a DVD rip. Quality is not that great. Personally I'd stick with the OST til the officialy 2-disc set is released.

yeah it does has sfx. sorry guys. i tried lol. i have the official ost, but will sell it & buy the 2 disc version. i did the same with 1989 Batman - sold the official for the 2 disc.

there was also an Expanded Mask Of The Phantasm cd that I bought.

as for which films are better, hard for me to say. Begins & TDK were made recently while 1989 & Returns was made over a decade ago. Different eras. I think this generation of fans may prefer the recent ones. I don't blame them. But me, I'm such a Batman fan, I like all 4 of em. They all have their goods & bads. Music wise, I liked TDK the least. But the other 3 I liked equally. In terms of acting, I think Keaton, Gough, & Hingle (R.I.P.) played the better Batman, Alfred, Gordon. No offense to the current ones. They're great. It's just the others were better to me. I liked the old Batmobile as opposed to The Tumbler too. Although, I did like the scene in TDK where The Batpod literally & seemingly cam out of the Tumbler right before it said "Goodbye" and exploded. Villains.....Nicholson was AMAZING as The Joker. But so was Ledger (R.I.P.). It doesn't matter who was better because they both stole the show in 1989 & TDK respectively. But if you nailed me down, I'd say it's a tie for different reason or reasons.

I don't think Harvey should've become Two Face in TDK. They should've taken it slow. When Dent was carred by the fire, they should've proclaimed him dead & Batman should've saved Gordon & his family from Joker & Batman could be chased by cops to due to being blamed for Dent's "death". Then in Batman 3, Two Face could have emerged, proving Dent was still alive although mentally scarred. Then with another villain or 2, they could have plaged the city so much that the world would accept an outlaw vigilante as the hero Gothan not only deserves, but needs & thus, Batman's back. Something like that. Cuz in TDK, he wasnt Two Face for long.

I think Michelle played an excellent Catwoman - costume, facials, acting, movements, etc. Same for DeVito as The Penguin. Can't say that for Scarecrow in Begins although he was very good.

Now for the ending...Begins, TDK, 1989, tied with me as THE BEST in EVERY WAY u can ask/think of. ONLY THING I hate about Returns is instead of Batman seeing the signal, Catwoman is & she looks brand new when just a few minutes or moments before, her costume was torn & she electrocuted herself & Max to death if I remember correctly (haven't seen it in a long time).

And the Batman scenes......all movies have excellent Batman scenes. Only thing I never understood was in 1989. You can see him, from his Batplane, aiming directly at The Joker. Yet, when he shoots, he completely misses & not one shot hits Joker lol. It's funny.

Keaton's voice, acting, movements, mannerisms, facials, were greatly superior to me than Bale's although Bale was a very good Batman. Much better than Kilmer & Clooney.
