This is very similar to Bantorra with the small ensemble and the horror feel. It seems this can only be purchased if you buy the limited edition of the DVD of the OVA so this should be sufficient for most people.

Thanks Sirusjr! eager to check out more Hirano work. I really liked "Broken Blade" and the orchestral/choral stuff from "Death Note". Have heard mixed reviews of his others, like "Book of Bantorra", but I want to check out more of his compositions.

just listened to this soundtrack and wanted to say WOW. Up with one of my favorites among his works, maybe even better than "Death Note", much more varied. Still have some great cues with dark gothic "dies irae" choirs, but also smaller symphonic cues, and several tracks with kotos and other Japanese instruments add a great touch. Also, I must say, I generally hate saxophones being used in symphonic music (mentally that sound just seems stuck with jazz and film noir, etc), yet here there are a few pieces with beautifully integrate saxophone in with the rest of the orchestra for a gorgeous effect. Good stuff!

And here I thought I had added all of Hirano's missing soundtracks... Must have missed this one since it was an enclosure (if you know of any of others that are not listed let me know). Anyways, I found the soundtrack and it's downloading right now... but it's downloading so slowly that I'm not sure it will ever finish (like maybe 10KB a minute at best). Maybe someone else has better luck. Though you'll probably just be better off waiting for someone from here to reupload.
