I got an MP3 rip of Shadow of the Beast (which I think it's yours since the MP3tags have your name in them). The only problem is that track 1 seems to have an error after a few seconds it starts playing, is this error in the actual CD too?

Thanks Jessie, the error I talked about was a weird clipping of the sound at about 4-5 seconds after it started, maybe it was a bad download. Thanks again.

Did you verify the file integrity to rule out, that the error was already introduced before the encoding step?

It was previously ripped on an old dying pc with a bad disc drive, so i'm guessing that was the cause, as the skipping was there when i listened to it. I re-ripped it from the disc again and was fine.

Hey Jessie, man your collection has really grown. glad to see all the crap the file hosts are doing to people these days hasn't kept you down. i'm looking for a couple Sumthing Else soundtracks in lossless, Tao Feng and Conker Reloaded, but i can't find them anywhere. the rarity of these soundtracks always strikes me as strange, because they're so much more easily available than the japanese soundtracks. At any rate, if you could share those in flac, i'd appreciate it as it would help fill out my collection of Sumthing Else CDs :)

I have to say in my behalf, I'm relieved, I don't like to download lossless because they consume my time downloading and converting and my money because I have to buy media big enough to store them and only to store them because I can't listen to them in a portable device, I'm OK with mp3 as long as they have good quality, if I want them lossless I think I'd rather buy the real items, I dispose of most FLAC archives after a good MP3 encoding.

lool holygamer, just be glad that the music is free. Some of this stuff is rare and/or extremely hard to find, so you ought to be grateful. It is also polite to say thank you when you do download something, as it lets the uploader know that people are interested. As for requesting soundtracks, you really do need to learn to read.

See, this is where you're mistaken and i'm telling you that you're wrong. I'm not requesting anything, i am giving download links to those that want them, i haven't got the upload speed to provide every single thing i have purchased. The op always had links from the beginning, and when it was updated, it was to add more links. It has just expanded way passed that as i've gotten more and more stuff, and obviously, as stated before, can't upload everything i get.

You yourself have said you're new here, so you don't know how this thread started out or how it has progressed. I had plenty of links uploaded from a previous thread i had, which were added to the op. The op originally was just the Digital releases, and they all had working links.

So, this is me officially telling you that you are wrong, i am not breaking any forum rules, and i was not an admin at the time i created this thread, so i wasn't abusing my power or whatever you may think.

The fact that lots of others are siding with me just goes to show that you need to learn to relax a bit, not question every minor thing you come across, and be thankful for the things you download or to those that are actually willing to reupload stuff for you.

It's designed as an office sharing program, but can also be setup for private/public use. It's fairly easy to use. Just keep in mind that it doesn't cooperate over wifi very well.

Yes but how will that help Jessie? Wouldn't people be using Jessie's broadband connection upload bandwidth to download? If more than a few people downloaded at the same time the downloading speed would slow to a crawl. You would need a mega fast broadband connection to do that. Otherwise you would need to purchase a dedicated server from a hosting company. And if you could to that, what's the point in using that software in the first place?

I haven't been in the forum for a couple of days and didn't see the whole thing that holygamer started, I think the guidelines were clear on that matter, if you post a link, you will have to post a separate thread, your list at the first page was just that, a list not a list of links, only if they are (were) available, the text will have a link.
