Well, where to start?

First off, thank you TONS for the sfx-less version of the Luigi's Mansion soundtrack. It's so nice to hear the several versions of the game's main theme without any sound effects. I also want to think you for your Banana Blitz soundtrack. Though I disliked the latter game simply because of the controls, I loved the soundtrack for the game. Mainly, this one song that I found on Youtube...

Also, could you do a Pac-Man World 2 rip? The game has a fantastic soundtrack, and I would love to see a complete game-rip! Just go listen to B-Doing Woods on Youtube, it's my personal favorite track in the game![COLOR="Silver"]

Well actually my new neighbour ordered internet on the wrong address with as result I haven't had internet for one month.

Started fresh by uploading Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim gamerip. The OST is actually quite complete, but OST lacks most bard songs and several ambient songs, like a harp song which i think is played during one of the companion quests and the dark brotherhood door that plays some drumloop. Also some songs have a slight different reverb in-game compared to OST.

Also ripped the songs from Fable 3, but I can't figure out the battle songs. The 360 version has some RIFF-based files that I think are XMA, but the XMA tools don't work on it. The PC version uses XWMA, but the battle songs ends up as a single stereo file with interleaves of different songs that I can't seem to match. I found one rip here, but it misses songs.

Hey slippytoad. Many months ago there were three tracks in your Mario Galaxy 1 rip that had stream/sequence synching issues. You said you fixed all three of them but only two of them made it into the "new" subfolder. The third fixed one "vs. Bowser (Bowser's Burned Tail)" somehow failed to get uploaded. Presumably you still have the fixed version and only need to reupload it. Will it ever get uploaded one glorious day?

From someone that constantly looks over several sites and forums, searching for Ripped or Original Soundtracks, I have to say I'm really thankful for stumbling upon this thread.
Thanks to it I have managed to properly appreciate the valuable composition of many of the melodies from games I love. I has really made me happy.

Yet there are three titles from Nintendo I've been struggling to find a good or proper recording of:
-Kirby's Epic Yarn (Many of the files I have found lack a big lot of songs)
-Harvest Moon Magical Melody (The game's music basically passed by unnoticed and there's only one recording I have found that although I'm thankful for, it lacks sound quality)
-Pokemon Channel (It has a basically good recording, but all the songs have "Pika" sounds from Pikachu)

I'd be really glad if you could find the time to work on any of those three if not all of them. Thanks again[COLOR="Silver"]

added Donkey Kong Country Returns as FLAC and MP3. I thought most rips were missing songs or just converted the game audio to mp3/flac. Plus they missed a few songs(in particular boss intro songs that were hidden in the PAK files). I also recorded all the FMV's. Most people don't notice, but most FMV's have 3 versions depending whether you arrive with Donkey Kong and/or Diddy Kong.

The unused songs were found on the game disc. All boss songs were found in the pak file, but some of them had an unused variation outside the pak file. Riding Blubbo also has a variation without reverb that's never used or loaded in-game.

I thought Up Above also played when you were playing part of a level involving collecting coins in the clouds... I believe these types of areas were only accessible through specific Warp Pipes. I fact, I think you can find the very first one early on in a level in World Map 1: Grass Land.

I just thought of one more thing. Slippy, do you mind if I ask you what brand of Music File Editing software you use? And is it free? I, myself, have been using WavePad Sound Editor to edit my files, but since it's the free version, it's very limited on what I can do with it... If you can't tell me which software you use, or it isn't free, what would you recommend?

Hey Slippy. Did you find anything about that missing track in your "Super Mario Bros. 3"? The one that's a "Hurry Up!" Version of "Up Above" that would play if time was running out in the bonus coin-collecting areas in the sky. I know they exist, because I've been to one. I think there's one in one of the unmarked pipes in one of the early Levels of World Map 1: Grass Land.

Oh! And um... Could you fix something in the Pokemon Diamond & Pearl (DS) Soundtrack? It's Track #139 - Fight Area-Route 225-227 (Nighttime). Fight Area's Nighttime Music is actually a variation of 138 - Fight Area (Daytime), not the same as Route 225-227 (Nighttime). I have that Track, but the quality is awful. Not to kiss up or anything, but so far out of all of the "Complete" Soundtracks I've found, yours has been the best by far. I guess that's one reason I keep bugging you about the soundtracks. Sorry if I've been a bother all this time...

Is it not possible to get the tagged incomplete PKMN Stadium 2 USF?..

USF (http://usf.hcs64.com/) --- nope.

According to that, it has no tags, no timing, and no numbering.

The tags is obviously the names like "Title", "Boss", or whatever names it is.
The timing is obviously... how long it is (by default, it'll be played for 3 minutes with a 5-second fade-out).
The numbering is basically like the track number, and helps to order it. Otherwise, it'll be in alphabetical order, so you'd get like:
Boss Battle
Ending
Opening
Stage 1
Title

Instead of
1. Opening
2. Title
3. Stage 1
4. Boss Battle
5. Ending

The best bet is to get the USF, find out the actual lengths (preferable for 2 loops) and maybe add 5-10 seconds of fade-out, and use some YouTube upload of the soundtrack, if available, to tag them and maybe number them in a sensible order (i.e. chronologically, with "Opening" or "Titles" as the first, and any ending themes (or hidden themes, even) as the last tracks).

The USF i have is tagged, but I never tagged it. It used to be on hcs64.org

He said he does have it tagged by one random tagger.

Hey, Slippy. I'm not trying to be a pain or anything, but part of the Pokemon Colosseum Soundtrack needs to be fixed. It's the Colosseum Round 4 Track. It's actually different from the Admin Battles because after the first loop it starts over, rather than starting a completely different tune. If you could create a fixed version and add it separately like you did the fixes in "The Legend of Zelda: Skyward Sword" Soundtrack that would be great. I know some people don't notice the difference. In Pokemon XD they modified Colosseum Round 4 to match that of Pokemon Colosseum's Admin Battle. But in the Original Pokemon Colosseum Game it's different than Pokemon XD's version. I own both games, so I know what I'm talking about. Could you add it even if Round 4's Music starts out the same between the two games?

if it's not on an OST, not used in an other game and it's also only available streamed on the game disc with the voices in it, you can't rip it. That's the case for many games, including Shadow the Hedgehog

i think it's your ipod or something went wrong when you downloaded it, otherwise more people would have complained about it.

You don't happen to have downloaded with Internet Explorer? Internet Explorer has this stupid behaviour that it will sometimes stop downloads and load the file and if you try to download it again, you get the same truncated file instead of downloading it again.

I've only been able to find what's on the Original Soundtrack (Example: from "GoronMoron") and the quality on it isn't as good as the Soundtracks you've done. Speaking of GameCube Pokemon Series... There's a mistake in Pokemon Colosseum. I know that in Pokemon XD: Gale of Darkness the Final Colosseum Battle has the Exact Same Music as the Semi-Final Cipher Battle in Pokemon Colosseum. BUT, in Pokemon Colosseum, the Final Colosseum Battle plays the First...uh...Verse, then it repeats that Verse, which doesn't happen when you're battling in any other area. I'll admit the Semi-Final Cipher Battle has the Exact Same First Verse as the Colosseum Final Battle in Pokemon Colosseum, but unlike the Final Battle Colosseum in Pokemon XD: Gale of Darkness, the first Verse continues to repeat until the end of that Battle Round. Anyone who owns BOTH of these Games AND Has Played the Final Colosseum Round IN Both Games Has Got to know what I'm Talking About.

First off, I want to thank you for all the great music I couldn't have gotten anywhere else.
I found something odd about the Super Monkey Ball rip. While listening, the left and right channels seemed off-balance. When I looked in audacity, I found that in almost all the music, the right channel was noticeably louder than the left. Was this just something in the game (a possibility considering amusement vision didn't even get smooth looping quite right in the first entry)? If at any time you could check what's going on with this, that would be great, but I realize the files you'd need could be lost, and that this could be time consuming, or impossible or improbable for whatever other reason.
Either way, great work. There's so much good stuff here, I just don't know what to say.

Personally i use zippyshare for most of my uploads. If i'm not mistaken. Links from zippyshare only really go dead if the link hasn't seen any traffic for a certain amount of time.

Slippy, you are truly amazing. Grabbed Super Monkey Ball 2, Animal Crossing GCN, and Sonic Gems Collection.

I remember when I was younger, my whole family (our single mom included) used to all play Animal Crossing together, sharing a town, leaving each other goodies. It was really the only time my mom would even play games, let alone a game us younger ones also liked. We used to stay up late, me, my siblings, and our mom, wait for all the holiday events, stay up till midnight for the in-game New Years fireworks and such, when we couldn't really get out to celebrate due to family issues or money constraints. Sounds silly, but, the game really helped us at times. It was therapeutic, in a way.

Listening to these tunes just brings back a surge of nostalgia. Most of us are all grown up and moved out now, but I think I might pay my mother a visit and surprise her with a copy of the old game one of these days... she was really into it, more than us kids were sometimes!

I have created a new mediafire account. Mediafire doesn't remove download links that are not being downloaded for a long time, but they do delete things when piracy is involved. Therefore the new uploads will be password-protected.

So far only mp3 is reuploaded. Also unlike before I have decided the downloads to be rar files split in 200MB chunks. A bit inconvenient if you want to download a few songs, but easier for me to upload the entire set.

There ARE sound effects though. Just very very faint. Well, the truth is, that the person who originally recorded the tracks (MatzeSuperMario on YouTube) had to "painfully" play the time trials on each track, and find a spot where the camera in the replay would be as far away from the kart's engine as possible.

However, because of this, obviously the intros can't be ripped without engine noises.

As for other 3DS games, like Mario & Luigi: Dream Team, there's a jukebox at the end of the game. Other games like Super Mario 3D Land, were just recorded at places where there are little sound effects, which is sometimes very hard.

There ARE sound effects though. Just very very faint. Well, the truth is, that the person who originally recorded the tracks (MatzeSuperMario on YouTube) had to "painfully" play the time trials on each track, and find a spot where the camera in the replay would be as far away from the kart's engine as possible.

However, because of this, obviously the intros can't be ripped without engine noises.

Anyway, I have more Requests for TheUltimateKoopa. I appreciated the Mega Man 7 Game Rip you sent me, but I have just two more Mega Man Request... You wouldn't happen to have a Game Rip of Mega Man 1-6 (NES) that includes the sound effect that signifies you just selected a stage, do you? I LOVED that the Mega Man 7 Game Rip had that jingle in it--for those of you who don't know, I'm not refering to the music that plays right after you have selected a stage--and was wondering if you had one for the original 6 Mega Man NES Titles.

The other Request is that I understand that TheUltimateKoopa didn't have the Sega Saturn Game Rip of Mega Man 8, but do you have the PlayStation 1 Version? If so, could you also include the Stage Selected Sound Effect in that game as well?

As for the older requests I've made, I still need the following:

Exhibition Match Themes for the Gimmick Courts (Mario Power Tennis (GCN & Wii)

Good Quality Kingdom Hearts Vocal Songs in English (Under the Sea, Swim this way, etc.)

I also forgot that I needed Two Music Tracks from Mario & Luigi: Superstar Saga (GBA), Apparently TheUltimateKoopa had done all the tracks on that BrawlBRSM or whatever website. The two that I need in good quality are:

They play towards the very end of the game, so hopefully somebody--if not TheUltimateKoopa--has Them as they're starting (You'll know when the themes start because when at the correct starting point, there'll be less background music in addition to the Main Themes). Thanks!

I just checked the so called "Exhibition Court" Themes for Mario Power Tennis, and they're NOT the Exhibition Court Themes!! They're the Ring Shot / Item Battle Themes!! Anyway, I need the REAL Exhibition Themes from Mario Power Tennis. And yes, the Exhibition Themes and the Ring Shot / Item Battle Themes ARE totally different!

Other rips had SFX or started the song at the second loop without the intro like the Peach Beach, Daisy Cruiser music. What about music from Wii U games? Has anyone found out how to rip music from the Wii U discs yet? I'd love to see a rip for New Super Mario Bros U and Super Mario 3D World.... So far I can only find a few songs from Super Mario 3D World on youtube.

hi, I'm back from now. Sorry for being inactive. I have a wife, house and job now that keeps me busy from more important things like maintaining my soundtrack collection. :P

As of now the 3DS/2DS and the Wii U are not hacked at all and to my knowledge there's no action replay/game shark thing for it made too, so the ability to record these games without sound effects are very limited. So as long that's not the case i'm not going to do any 3DS/2DS rips

I can't express enough how appreciative I am for all this music; such a great collection, and every aspect very professionally done! I'd also like to point out that part two of FF Crystal Chronicles doesn't seem to be downloading correctly, although mediafire still acknowledges the file to be there. Other then that, these folders are perfection, from what I've seen so far. ^_^

Fantastic collection! You have the most complete collection of Donkey Kong Country Return's music. I have just downloaded it and must give my many thanks! I've got to say; DKCR's soundtrack really fluctuates in how good it is for me. I used to think it was awesome, but then thought it was the worst of the five DKC games. Now, after listening to the tracks from your collection of it, I love it again! There's so much good music in the later half of the game, including both the DKC rearrangements and the uncommon original arrangements.

Would you, by any chance, have all the audio files from the game in their original state? An internet frolicker by the name of crediar uploaded a folder containing every sound (including the stuff with two channels, like the music) of Donkey Kong Country Tropical Freeze on the HSC Forum. I'd love to have the same for DKCR!

Once again thanks for uploading a relatively complete collection of DKCR. It's not completely complete, as little things such as the very beginning track of Stormy Shoe in which only the percussion is playing isn't in there, and other stuff such as the variations of Mangoruby and Thugly's music not being separate from the base track, aren't in the collection. However, that doesn't matter too much at this point in time. I can't believe that I can actually listen to that track at the beginning of Crazy Cart now!
