Yeah I can scan the jedi one, might be a few days. I've doing some repairs in my house and it's taking up all my time.
This is a clarification on my initial post-- I only have the Story of ROTJ(which I will scan), but I don't have the other storys of. I've got the read-along book and record of SW and TESB. I'll see if I can do them.

Yes - was just about to post re the confusion before I read your last post.

Just to clarify to others - we are getting confused about the products.

"The Story of Star Wars" was not a read-along album - it was a single-LP presentation of the movie including dialogue/sound effects etc and with added narration by Roscoe Lee Brown...when released (in 1977), it was really the only way to experience the film outside the theatres....perhaps unsurpsingly, the album went Gold.

The Story of The Empire Strikes Back and The Story of Return of the Jedi were similar products, in rapidly declining quality.

Then there are the seperate "Read-Along" versions for all three films - in fact the Read-Along ESB was the only way I experienced the film until long after I had seen ROTJ!!

I have cleaned-up transfers to mp3 of both the SW and ESB albums (not the read-alongs) - ROTJ is out there too but in not such good quality. Will upload them if people are interested?

As an alternative - and if you have the time to listen to them - don't forget the amazing Radio adaptations of all 3 stories - well worth a listen!!

It was kind of a rush sorry to everyone for the confusion.
If I can get a hold on a record player and do the Story of ROTJ, it'll be better quality.
I'll also be doing the read-alongs mostly for my 7 year old nephew. The read-alongs I have are fresh out of the package, 24 pages on each.

I have a serious question. I own the star wars lp from 1977 and both sides are the same. Meaning there are two side ones. This is a total misprint. Anyone know the value of this record?

^ Well, seeing that it's really not that old of a record and basic selling prices of them on the net is about $10..... I wouldn't think it would sell for more than $20. :( Maybe in another 20 - 30 years the collector's value might go up.

really? thats a shame. I just pictured it was like one of those misprinted stamps or pennies, a record with both the same sides. Oh well. But i can this, after 30 years i finally get to hear the second side thanks to this forum! I also have to ESB and ROTJ records in perfect condition, great sentimental value there!

My Story of Star Wars cover was made different as it was an opening one with the book stapled inside like one big book which most story albums looked like in the 70's. Even the record looked different.
