There are definitely differences in the versions, though subtle. If we were indeed doing differentials, I would definitely vote A Day in Agrabah and Arabian Dream from KH2 over the versions in KH1.

Yeah, but Organization XIII's theme is ominous and immediately identifiable - for me it instantly conjures the Organization, whereas this Beast's Castle theme is just background music to me - doesn't really stand out above any other location theme in the game.

btw guys, Birth By Sleep Final Mix came out in Japan not too long ago and I've taken some time to listen to the new tracks it has, they're pretty awesome so I think i'll add em to the rumble.

The first of the new themes in BBS final mix. The battle theme for the realm of darkness, yes, the realm of darkness becomes the final world in birth by sleep final mix and anyone who's played the orignal birth by sleep will know why. What's interesting about this world is that you actually fight Heartless instead of unversed.

A boss theme form KH2, plays for some heartless battles and battles with Pete.

Another theme from BBS Final Mix. This plays during the battle with "No Heart" who is a boss fought via the mirage arena, he looks just like Xemnas' armoured form and fights using Master Xehanort's keyblade, he is insane, he actually gets off the throne and starts fighting you which was pretty cool. You'll notice the theme basically combines Ansem's main battle theme (Forze Del Male) and Xemnas' (Darkness Of The Unknown). This is one of the most awesome things I've ever heard.

This is the theme for the final and only boss of the secret episode, a pureblood heartless known as "Hunter of The Dark". This boss begins the battle stalking you from the darkness and all you can see are its glowing red eyes, when it attacks you see the attack coming from its point of view like a horror film.
