First off..

Not to piss people off by misleading them, as the heading states, these are just selections from my personal gamerip! I have not completed it yet and may not get a chance to complete it for a few weeks. And not to get anyones hopes up, i wont be releasing this till i have redone my God of War I and II and also the God of War: Chains of Olympus rip, so please do not hold your breath...

HOWEVER

In the meanwhile, i have selected a few of my favorite tracks that, apart from 2 (First & Second track) have not been released in any fashion.

Here you have 9 tracks in total, 1 track from each of the discs i have ripped so far. I have called these tracks:


1. Scaling Gaia 'Rapture of War' (A short version of this track can be found on Velasco's Webiste)
2. Song of Persephone (Most associate this with Pandora's song, It is in fact the Beguiled love between Persephone and Hades)
3. Haunting Memories
4. The Power of Helios
5. Chamber of the Flame
6. A Rather Decent Proposal
7. Dark Centaur
8. Skorpius
9. Saving Pandora

The music presented here is far better than, in my opinion anyway, any of the music on the commercial release.. Although the commercial release is a good representation of the music in the game, i think they have missed a trick or two in releasing some of the minor music in the game and would have been a far better release had they released more of the action orinetated music in the game that we are all too familier with!

I am not promising that my rip will get released simply because i do not know when i will get the time to finish it or upload it. But as i say, i hope in the meanwhile, the tracks presented here will somewhat ease the tension and of course give the fans of God of War Series and God of War III In particular, something else to listen to!

Any comments are of course welcome about the rip, tracks or questions in general. I will of course endeavour to answer the questions i know the answers to and will source, if possible the answers to the questions i do not!

edit: listened to it. Funny you included all the songs I thought where absolutely missing from the commercial release. Great choice. Only one favorite song missing for me. It is the song where you have to climb the pit with all the falling platforming where the choir goes "huh, sugah" :). But that will surely be included in the full rip someday.

Excellent work in ripping these! I was a bit disappointed that the flight music wasn't included, when you're flying up the Chain of Balance.

Anyways there is just one more track I am looking for, it is when you arrive at mount olympus for the first time and see Hades pull a Titan to its doom and says Die.....
Any ideas on the name of the track?

I'm not sure of the official name but if you look on YouTube under "Door to Olympia" that's the same music. I think its called Cliffs of Olympus as well. I know, the track that plays directly after you push the hand of Gaia off the cliff. That big ass door.
