I see on Amazon the Kick-Ass soundtrack is being released next Tuesday but I don't have any interest in the soundtrack. I was was wondering if anyone had or knew when the score was going to be released? John Murphy and three others have credit on it.

Saw the film last night and it's crying out for a complete score+songs soundtrack. (Great film, go see it!)

Yeah I'm planning on seeing it opening day...been excited about it since I first read the script last year. I bought the Book One hardcover last month as well.

The Kick-Ass Score Soundtrack just got mastered at Abbey Road - so they're definitely putting it out. I think its 41 tracks which is superb. I'll put a track list up soon as I see it.

He later goes on in another comment to confirm that it'll be on iTunes April 26 with a CD release shortly afterwards (Late April/early May release).

Awesome. I wasn't sure if they would since a lot of the score is re-used from previous films. A lot of people are actually flipping shit about it---calling it lazy. All I know is that the score worked amazingly well with it. That is all that matters to me.

I saw that thanks for pointing that out...and at first I was annoyed that Murphy was using scores from his previous work but it does work well in the movie and I look forward to hearing the score when it's released.

Release date on iTunes pushed back until early May. That sucks.

I don't suppose anyone's picked this up and would care to share? :D

EDIT: Correction, apparently, from the most recent comments, the composer himself doesn't know why it hasn't appeared yet on iTunes... Hopefully, someone'll be able to get it soon!

Nothing so far...Debney said that he's still waiting for it to be uploaded to ITUNES yet and that he still doesn't have a copy of the mastered score himself yet.

Hi!

I'm in the US and really want this but even Amazon's UK site won't allow me to purchase it. I downloaded the entire 121mb RAR but when I uncompress I end up with a folder that's all of 3.53mb and only one track (kind of like compression in reverse-download a huge file and then it compresses to a small one).
Any advice?
