Do you have the real Puyo Puyo 7 soundtrack, or just a gamerip? I'll upload everything else soon.

Hey ^^;
I acquired PP7 from here: http://www.sendspace.com/file/m4pqkd
320kbps, so I can't be sure it's a rip or not.

That's the one I uploaded. It is the original soundtrack, but the non-original tracks were not included. By this, I mean songs that were in previous games.

EDIT: To avoid contradiction, read what I have to say now.......Despite being clearly mistaken, I still have some things to say.

It's a gamerip. And in no way the official soundtrack (http://vgmdb.net/album/15961).

A staff member from that site eh? Too bad English track titles are not available. Comparing to the OST to the Gamerip, it wouldn't suprise me if a few exclusive tracks were featured. Otherwise, the quality of the gamerip is pretty damn good, unless you're one of those lossless-obsessed individuals who listen to every little bit of bitrate difference between the "perfect" and "standard" quality.

Now, I know that might have sounded harsh, but I really dislike how people dismiss gamerips JUST because of the aspect of not being the OST. It deters the users who DO appreciate the music itself aside from the presteige of having an "OST" labled to it. People need to actually listen to it and determine if the quality is up to their personal standards. If it is not, then they can wait until someone rips some FLAC/lossless encoding of the pure original soundtrack.

Oh, ONE MORE THING. Just because I UPLOADED it does not mean I RIPPED it. This was the state I received this elsewhere. "Puyo Puyo 7 Wii OST" - Yeah, people make this mistake all the time, just don't dismiss it's quality. I mean, it was extracted from the game itself for crying out loud.

So yeah, I had another look at it, and see that I was clearly mistaken, but it doesn't change how I feel about people dismissing the music because it is a gamerip. Is it becomming a bad thing?

Actually, Sound Reaper, it's just because the Puyo soundtracks are sometimes a bit different or end differently. That's my only reason for the preference.

thanks for uploading your Puyo OSTs!
I love the sound of these games.

Which is your favorite?

"Oh no! This isn't the OST! It has extra music!"

Steelix, the others are easily found and are arranged versions. Some of them are arrangements of in-game songs and some are new tracks. They're Puyo-related, but there are no OSTs for the 1st 3 games.

It annoys me, too. I did use them for naming guidelines, however.

I see.

...

Well, I'm still right. =/

Now I'm even more disappointed. But I'm still keeping your "OST"s.

I'm probably pushing this... but do you also have the Ketteiban version of the Puyo 2 soundtrack?

Also.... "Pop Sheets"???

Which OSTs are you looking for? The 'Puyo Puyo' series is one of the games that almost has a game in each type of genre (puzzle, RPG, dance, simulation, no FPS (first person shooter) or TPS (third person shooter), no dating sim, no shooter).

Here is a list of most of their games:
http://puyonexus.net/wiki/List_of_games
(systems: NES (Famicom), Super NES (Super Famicom), Genesis (Megadrive), Game Gear, Gameboy, Saturn, Playstation, Dreamcast, PC)

There is also an anime that aired in Korea as well (some on Youtube, I think). I have not found any PC OSTs (like Seriri's Happy Birthday), but I do have a program which does not want to work on my computer. :/

- I do have Madou Monotagiri (Saturn), Waku Waku Puyo Puyo Dungeon (PSX & Saturn same music).
- I also have a special compilation made by a guy named 'Tomatsu' of various Puyo Puyo games he put into what seems to be a 5 disc pack.

I also have the five-disc thing, it's a Puyo Puyo 15th Anniversary tribute Album or something.
