You can only obtain this item in the Chocobo Racing in the Gold Saucer! I'm not sure if it you win it when you race or when you bet but I know it's there ...

You will get it if you're very lucky or simply win the S-Class a couple of times and you should get it along with some other items.

I think it's an accessory which increases your HP by one point each time your character takes a step. (like the "tintinabar" in FFVI).

When you win a Chocobo race you get an item. Afterwards will be a questrion: you can either keep the item or trade it for GP (Gold Saucer Points it hink). But you cant trade the items for Gil.

<font color=red face="comic sans ms">I think the Cat's Bell actually restores 2HP for every step you take. Another thing about it is it doesn't let you have 7777HP. If you're at 7775 or 7776 and take one more step, it will automatically put it at 7778 either way. They don't want you getting all lucky 7's that easily. :p

And yeah, I think you get one free after you win a certain amount of S-Class races; I'm not sure if you had to beaqt Teioh a certain amount of times or not. However, it should turn up in both betting and racing for S class and possibly A class aswell. Or you can choose to take 500GP instead, which I found much more useful. ;)

i never thought about using it for the lucky 7's, but goddamnit anyway!!

XD, counteract that then. It shouldn't be too hard if you have chocobo and that does less than 40, just get it right and it should be easy.

You have to win 3 races to get promoted 1 class. But to win the S-Class you have to win 9-12 races if I remember right. But when you do you get several good items.

(forget to mention: it doenst matter if you take the long or the short course).

You can win the S-class and then you get several items such as a Chocobo Feather and a Cat's bell. It is possible to win more Cat's Bells.

when you say get....do you mean recieve them for winning ...or win them seperatly in the s-class races you do to complete the s-class,

excuse the bad grammar

When you beat the S-class you get it always. But you can win it in separate races (S-class only if I recall corect). Everytime you finish a race you get a bet like kinda screen. There are three symbols which indicate what you've won. And if you are lucky you might win aonther cats bell.

So basically you understand right? After you have your chocobo maxed in the s-class, it then depends on luck if you get the cats bell or not. I have it in one of the saved games, but I hardly ever use it. Don't waste too much effort to where you go insane because of it....

Neo Xzhan

Well yeah the cats bell isnt worth the effort cuz I prefer a ribbon or tetra elemental cuz they have more use :P.
