-Original Soundtracks: Just what they say, official Gran Turismo soundtracks. Available to the public to purchase, and also used in the Japanese version of each game.
-Fan Soundtracks: These are collections that aren't 'official' but are generally accepted as soundtracks. It's mostly compilations.
-PAL/NTSC In-Game Soundtrack: Songs of several artists featured in the both game versions PAL and NTSC.

� I've gathered all the album art that I could find.

� The individual track information is complete as I could manage.
Included info of Song, Album, Artist, Year, Song Number, Disc Number, Disc ID, and Producer.

� For the time being, I can't confirm what tracks are included in the American version of certain games. If you happen to own any of these games in their American release version, please let me know.

Q: What does "read only" means?
A: For the time being, all links are down. Until I find a trustworthy source to upload the files, you'll only be able to read the information that I've gathered. Download links will come later. UPDATE: New links are up! I will be posting the links are they become available.

Q: How far is this collection complete?
A: I would say about 80% due to the fact that I don't own the American version of every game in the series. I'm only able to confirm completely what tracks are featured in each game for the European and Japanese regions.

Q: Is every game in the series featured in this collection?
A: You can find every single game of the series up until 2010 (Gran Turismo 5) including GT Concept, Prologue, GT HD and GT PSP. You can also find tracks from Tourist Trophy, a game also developed by Polyphony Digital. I would also like to include demos and GT Academy mini games in the future, but for now, you won't find those in this collection.

Q: Why is Tourist Trophy included in this collection?
A: Tourist Trophy is a game developed by the same company and team. Even tough the game features motorcycles, the game is running on a slightly updated engine of Gran Turismo 4. It is still a great game, and every Gran Turismo fan loves it. It's only natural to include this soundtrack.

Q: Where's the download link?
A: In the Spoiler box (you, must register first in order to see it). Unless the link is written in BOLD, the link is not yet active. Please be patient as I try to upload well over 10GB worth of data.

Q: Can I have a torrent instead?
A: Of course you can. I'll be providing mirror and torrent links for each album in the collection. Plus, a torrent containing everything in this thread. Don't worry about seeding as I will always seed.

Q: Why does it say Region Free on some of the games?
A: Region Free means, the game is the same for all regions, and will work on your game console regardless where you both them from. Before the PlayStation 3 games, each region had its own differences (different car names, different songs/bands feature to suit their respective markets). While these vary slightly in content (I.E., the Japanese version of Gran Turismo 5 has Alfa Romeo in the Museum), the music tracks included in these games are exactly the same. This has been proven true since Gran Turismo 4.

Q: You state the you have recovered your lost data. Does this mean you have successfully recovered everything?
A: Yes. I have recovered all the lost data, plus some minor stuff. However, I am still unable to recover some exclusive videos and promotional pictures. These do not affect the soundtrack collection whatsoever, so no harm done.

Q: Will Gran Turismo 6's soundtrack be featured on your torrent?
A: Sadly I am unable to rip any BLURAY format media, meaning, any PS3 game will have to be ripped by someone else. Will eventually add Gran Turismo 6 to the collection eventually, and if the work has been done by someone else, I will give the respectful credit to the one responsible for the hard work.



Who am I, and my history with Gran Turismo.

I've been a loyal fan of the Gran Turismo franchise ever since I first laid eyes on it. On Christmas 1998, I received an original Sony PlayStation from my parents. A few days later, I borrowed a copy of Gran Turismo from a friend, and I was hooked for life...

Since then, I managed to get a copy of every single commercial game in the series that has been released in Europe. Even though I struggled a times, and my wallet wasn't always at the same pace, I still managed to appreciate the beauty within Gran Turismo during all these years.

Thanks to Gran Turismo, not only my knowledge in cars increased, but also my taste for music. In the summer of 2005, I set out on a quest to own the soundtrack from each and every game of the series. Some files that you will find here are still the original files that I first got from back in the day. Some are files that have been copied multiple times, but I have never had the need to change their details or quality.

Sadly however, on April 2013, my laptop melted (literally), forcing me to loose all my data. Up until that point I had collected well over 10GB of music tracks from several versions of the game, plus exclusive and rare artwork and some videos. So forgive me for the lack of content as I try to rebuild my collection.

Today, however. I managed to recover all my lost data, and much more. As the time of typing this, the Gran Turismo Collection is weighing 13.9GB in my HDD.

That would be great, GT HD is one of those that I don't have the soundtrack.

The actual menu music that I have are all from the first GT.
Just thought if it would matter or not to add them to the in-game soundtrack album.
But since the original albums already have those (but a bit 'mixed') I think there's no need.

Just finished with all the albums, only one left to upload, the GT PSP soundtrack, 'Gran Turismo Original Sound Collection' should be up in a few minutes.

As a bonus, I decided to add the Tourist Trophy soundtrack as well ;)

Now comes the harder part...find every single song featured in every single of the regions *faints*

Another problem I'm facing is the Intros/Ending movies of the games....I've searched the deeps of youtube, found plenty of stuff, but...the quality isn't' exactly the word of the day.
I have no idea of how to do it myself, if I could, well that would be a different story, highest quality possible of intro and ending movies of all games! XD

Back when I got this album (2008) I didn't had GT5P, only got the game later 2009, and never compared them both, since most of them seamed to be the same and my mind just registered like that.

Just give me those that aren't included in the album, the rest of the songs (from the artists, the ones you listen to while racing, I can deal with those)

Gran Turismo is my favorite series of all time besides FF. This is pretty awesome, though when playing the game I turn the music off completely.

In any Gran Turismo game you will find 3 kinds of soundtracks:
Original soundtrack; composed by the music directors of Polyphony Digital, and released to the public in an official album.
In-game soundtrack; menus, and all the sounds you hear when doing something in the game.
Artist In-game soundtrack; songs created by a composer/band/singer that are featured in the game, and you can only find them in a album composed by that same band/singer. The songs are usually listed in the 'credits' section of each game.

I'm getting everything together in order to get all those available.

I believe the tracks found in the PAL version of GT Concept, are the same in the japanese version.
Can't conform this about all the other though...

Can you redirect me to a tutorial on how to rip the music directly from the game DVD? I'm sure there must be such thing in here.
The GT series are harder, since all the music files are compressed into one file, usually names GT VOL, or in Tourist Trophy case TT VOL.
I've searched the web, but only got results on how to rip normal games like need for speed and such.

40GB is very small at this moment, man ,also Even you do not have 10Mbit, In fact, About 250KB/s will do the job,just slower. I have been using this for long time. I may notice little more than you. 100Mbit is not the requirement. I do not have 10Mbit, I still got a lot of stream, fresh.

Still, if someone with , for example, an "ElGato Game Capture HD" or an "Avermedia Live Gamer Pro" or a simple RGB (Red,Yellow,White) Capture Device and the game could capture JUST THE SOUND (if not possible, record the vid then rip off the sound) of ALL OF THE SONGS IN THE DISC, it'd be perfect

And YES, there IS an option like a "Sound Test" where you can play EVERY SONG IN THE GAME in 3 sections.. Menus, In-Game and (i think?) Online..No noises,no interferences,no car sounds nor "DUNNNnnnn..." (whenever you choose an option)

Ofcourse, you can also edit the in-game's Sounds (Music, Ticks, Etc) from the Options menu (Press Start while in the Main menu or anywhere from the MENUS (NOTHING like Pre-Race Config)

...Ofcourse, somebody must have the BALLS, TIME AND PATIENCE to do it @w@;..

I've got a capture device, but it's not exactly perfect at sound capture, so as much as I'd love to contribute myself, it just wouldn't work out well. I'm just really frustrated that no one outside of that one guy on GTPlanet has even put any effort into ripping this stuff, when GT5 had its entire soundtrack up within a month in good quality when it was released. The lack of an actual OST is frustrating too.

Attention everyone. This has become a serious pain in the butt! Before GT5, things were going smoothly and everyone was kind enough to me. Providing information and sometimes missing tracks and even full albums. Today however, people seem to forget that I'm doing something illegal for free, and keep on demanding more out of me as if I have some kind of obligation.

I do not own any of the albums CD. Everything I got was collected throughout the years since 2005. Furthermore, I do not have any sure way of extracting the music from the original games either.

I understand that direct links are much better than torrents, however, going through the processes of (slowly) uploading into a decent share center, only for it to be removed shortly after, and having to do it all over again, it's simply not worth it. With the torrent however, you will always have it running directly from my HDD. If everyone helps out, it will get more seeds, therefore, downloading much faster than a direct link would.

I will upload every single soundtrack from every single game. That much I can promise. When? I don't know. I have this thing called "life" that gets in the way sometimes so you just going to have to bare with me.

For those kind enough to empathise with me, I appreciate your support. This thread will keep growing and more links will be added eventually.

It's a pity that people are ungrateful really. I appreciate what you did and torrent is definitely better than nothing. Still I recommend you use MEGA for file hosting if you ever upload anything in the future. RapidShare has been terrible for years. For now, torrent is best choice.

I made a mega folder with a bunch of the GT albums I have on me just from collecting over the years. If anyone wants that, I'll link it. I'm not sure if DekoWolf would rather have the torrent be that source though. also he'd have more on that torrent because I don't collect the americanized albums with liscensed songs.

Don't worry bro, I can feel your pain. It is a pity indeed that people are ungrateful, and I do hope everyone can seed this torrent once they finish downloading, because nothing will make me happier than being able to download the soundtrack of all the GT games in high quality down the line.

I've been waiting on the torrents for Gran Turismo PAL, Gran Turismo 2 PAL, Gran Turismo Concept 2002 Tokyo - Geneva PAL, Tourist Trophy PAL and Gran Turismo PSP for 2 weeks and in that amount of time, I haven't been able to download not a single one.

I would suggest MEGA as upload site. I used it for my pretty big collection of star wars and evangelion soundtracks and it has several advantages:

No file removal and unlimited size of the file uploaded.

I did some testing, and I found a value where it will stay safely away from clipping while being sufficiently loud.

A sample track would help... The songs "Moon" (Menu), "All my Life" (Race) , the "Whenever you start a race in each grade (A,B,I-A,I-B...) when the race loads and the flag waves twice,well,each song for them), "We are one" (Credits theme) would be perfect for testing/comparing with the ones i have

PS: It'd REALLY HELP to CLASSIFY the songs in FOLDERS....Songs from MENUs in a folder, Racing songs in another, The License and Race Grades (like before) in 2 different folders". That way it'll be helpful to search where are our favourite songs

PS2: Long time ago i did my own rips with DJ HERO 1 n 2,and they sounded good yet a bit low, won't repeat the same error...

I'll be sorting them in folders the way GT6 sorts them into their respective genres. That way you'll easily find the songs you want.

Thanks for the UOST ^^. However, a track or 2 are missing but there's a reason behind it, and don't worry,it's not your fault nor anything bad.. The song's "We are one" but sadly this one (and another one i think,again) only unlocks after you get to see the game's credits after beating the Gran Turismo World Cup event or something ^^;

Yep, there's more than 2 tracks missing actually.
Jazz is missing the "Christmas Music" (technically was in GT5 but GT6 also has it so it should be included).
Lounge is missing "Arcade" and "Garage" tracks.
Rock is missing two "Pre-Race" tracks, "Flow", "We Are One" and "End of Days" by Daiki Kasho, both "Moon Over The Castle" arrangements are missing (one is GT5 Prologue, other is GT5, but both tracks are in GT6).
That makes total of 10 tracks missing.
Also the recording quality could be better. I have a proper gamerip from GT6 (not line-in), at 128kbit mp3 and despite such low MP3 quality, many tracks sound better than this recording.

Okay, I recorded all the songs present in the in-game music library. I suppose some songs are not available there, since i might not have unlocked them. Didn't expect that.
Earlier I attempted ripping the music directly from the games files, but had no luck there. No ripper i could find would accept those files. Does anyone have an idea of how i should proceed with doing that? I suppose that would increase the quality quite a bit.

Cars dealer music is missing,some of the Racing music are missing too. i'll try to record them

I must admit though, the "WARNING: Possibly insufficient sources" message anytime I try downloading one of Deko's torrents is really bugging me. I use BitTorent in case anyone cares.

While I have downloaded files from MEGA before without any issues, I can't download the GT6 soundtrack as it's telling me to install its Firefox extension for files over a GB in size and due to personal (and admittedly silly) paranoid reasons, I'm not gonna do that.

for those who are still interested in a GT6 Soundtrack, I was able to extract the GT.VOL file from GT6 successfully. Full Soundtrack is available including those from the Menu like Before Race or Last License Test and so on.

If there is still a high amount of interest, I can try to share them during Christmas.

Tracks has a AC3 Codec running with 160 k/Bits and 48000 kHz. I converted them to Audio CD Quality in WAV with 128 k/bits and 44100 kHz Standard Settings. After that I will convert them to FLAC.
Right now I have Access to 200 Tracks from the Game disc itself but I will also check if there was also new Songs updated through the several update files (I believe there is a 4th Christmas tune :) )

There is a successfully rip by using something called gttool (Do not confuse with GT3 or GT4). However obtaining the dumped is problematic, also there will be many issues.

Suggest you to find The GT6 dumped by DUPLEX for the start,I prefer Japanese version but EU is okay. I personally try not to tell you how, google it first.

It looks like EU version is very close to JAPANESE one as I am able to find the moon castle theme bgm, which is same as GT5.
