Makes me paranoid - is the Sent Items folder always supposed to be empty? I've had confirmation of received PM's before, so it seems to actually be sending, but...?

Save a copy of sent messages in my Sent Items folder by default
Check in "User CP" -> "Edit Options" if the above voice is selected.

Wow, could it have been more obvious?

Frankly, no.

BTW, welcome.

And yet, someone took the time to answer, which you have to admit is cool of them. Of course, people take the time to throw shit, too, don't they? Takes slightly less energy, but not much.

True... true. If you can distinguish one from the other you'll fit in nicely.

Well a healthy dose of perspective and a sense of humor helps, I've heard.

...now to hunt for the dead-obvious fix to the Banned/Subscription thing...

Oh, there is a thread about that. I'll find it and post it.

Thread 69879

Yes, I caught that thread, actually, thanks to the nifty Search function this forum is equipped with. It's the fix I hadn't located yet. I checked the User CP for a "ban me from subscribed threads" option. I was sure it would be there.

Its some kind of technical cock-up I think. My sig keeps disappearing too. Grrrr.

His sig problem has been resolved :p

Also, you're probably wondering why it doesn't show up in this thread, Doc. It's because posts you made before you set a sig, don't ever get to display that sig. Now, if you had a sig and change it to something new, it WILL show in all the posts you made that had A sig set.

Yeah, it was this thread that I first noticed its absence. It's the same old sig, not a new one. But I get what you mean. Thanks.

Protip: if you're going to go a while w/o a sig, make sure you leave a period in there or something, so when you do get a new one it'll show up retroactively.

Whoa!! That's pretty crafty. I usually show it in my first post in each thread these days, you know, because it's kinda mandatory for the ego, and then leave it out every other time.

Sorry mverta for changing the topic of your thread, but that happens with great regularity around here. You'll see.

You don't need to worry about unticking "show signature." Like I said, it only shows up once per page in any thread, automatically.

I bet you unticked it in Shoot the Shit and didn't realize that it had rolled over to a new page, so it didn't show. That's the only thread where that is usually a problem.
