I am desperately looking for a lossless rip of Robert Folk's "The Neverending Story II: The Next Chapter" OST (including the songs by Joe Milner), if anyone has it. Do you play it by ear, or do you have sheet music? I've always wondered if there was sheet music available for the songs.. I'd love to have them.

Listening to the score again today, I'm reminded of David Shire's score for "Return to Oz." Especially in "Searching For Fantasia," now that you mention it.. hm..

And no problem about the conversion. I wanted the CD in MP3 format for iTunes, but the lossless FLAC format for archival purposes. Thank YOU for the re-up of that :)

Yeah, just by ear - but this makes me want to produce a proper piano reduction ;) It's more satisfying to figure things out for yourself I find. Give it a go, the harmony's not too difficult.

there seems to be a prob with the Mp3 version,everytime i try to play it in my Windows media player it keeps telling me that the files are Mpeg-1?

Hmm.. they work just fine in WMP for me. iTunes as well. I could try to re-convert them using another method if nothing else works for you.. have you tried playing it using anything else?

I have tried it on itunes and the same thing happens.

I know the VLC Player will play them as well.. Hell, VLC Player will pretty much play everything. I'll look into re-converting the FLAC files using another (and perhaps more stable) method.

Also, can you not play the FLAC files? Those are almost better to have, anyway.

Ok, I've re-converted the FLAC files using a different program, using a process which is probably a little more reliable than my last. The only drawback is that the files could only be encoded to a 256kbs bitrate, and not 320. It IS better than the mostly "standard" 128 or 160, though, so hopefully it's sufficient. If not, then..
