I'd say it was undoubtedly coming, every street fighter has done it why stop at 4, especially with DLC now, you can just distribute it cheap and effectively.

Theres a list of all the rumors and conjecture from people online as to whats in it. Mostly posts by the shoryuken.com "i know everything about fighting games because i have an account on this site" people starting rumors and counting them as truth because they know a guy who knows a guy who knows a writer for the guide at capcom.

For what i found, they are going to add more characters like Guy and Ibuki, but how can you add them into the game by DLC?

Yeah, the new characters are confirmed and I assume they will be DLC and a new version of the game. This day and age you cant release the same game a year later with extra content without offering it online as well. Like Fallout 3, theres DLC but theres also going to be an Game of the year version.

The rumour that has been around the internet stated the inclusion of a whopin' 10 new characters:
SSF2 - T. Hawk and Dee Jay
SFA - Adon, Cody and Guy
SF3 - Dudley, Ibuki and Makoto
and two originals.
There's also talk about everyone getting a second Super and Ultra (those new roman numerals in the Ultra gauge somewhat point at this possibility).

So far, part of this over ambitious prophecy became true. That said, if the game does indeed get 10 new characters or so, I think it's entirely reasonable for Capcom to charge full price for the game. This is hardly smalltime extras, all things considered.
Besides, I'm sure Arc System's gonna release their Blazblue update as a "full" game (updating the roster from a mediocre 12 or something to a acceptable 15...something like that. Details elude me at the time...)

It won't be DLC, however, it will be a low-priced disc. Hooray.

So we have Dee Jay, T Hawk and Juri and i found that they will add 5 more characters.

Looks like it�s going to be a rentail disk not DLC, because the new characters and the change on the gameplay.

It won�t be an online compatibility between this and the normal one.

But on the bright side, Capcom wil sell it at half the price (i think it�s $30).

Alpha 3 had everyone in it.I'd find it insulting if they put any SFIII characters in it, considering how much better those games were.

So if Capcom made a game with characters from a game you like much more in it, you would take this as a personal insult.

I played Third Strike for a very long time, and while SFIV is very different, it's definitely not worse or so. I enjoy SFIV as much as I enjoyed TS back then when I had a PS2.
And I never played Alpha 3, so I forgot about its cast.

Capcom won�t release an arcade version of SSFIV, i hope they do a pc version

SFIV is a large step back from SFIII.They decided to make the game play like SFII, which came out in 1991, so all the same problems that plagued that game are here again, oh boy.Also something to note,the guy that made SFIV also made CFE, so that explains a lot of things.

- Its set to release in the US by March (If all goes well)
- It will be a seperate game, so you'll have to buy it again. Don't see why we couldn't have it as a free update or something.

lol, you're a moron. Seriously.
They give you like what? 10 new characters. New stages. New music. New features. Balance the old roster. This is too big to be a mere update, not to mention that it's already not even full priced but will cost only like 30$. ADDITIONALLY you'll get some bonus if you own the current version. Not to mention the compatibility issues with people who haven't bought the upgrade.
You should be happy that they aren't doing it like in the SF2 days where each of the versions would cost the full price.

Furthermore, the developers have to live of something, too. You can't just expect everyone to work for free and give you a high quality product just because you bought a game from them sometime else.

So stop bitching about SSFIV being released as a full game, otherwise you're a retard.
