Reports have it that ever since the latest firmware upgrade, 3.00, consoles have been "acting badly." Sony is working to fix the program and provide a necessary update.

Haven't had any issues with it so far. However, I'm not too fond of the oversized font they use now. :-P

Yeah, something about some controller problems I heard about this a few days ago... but it hasn't given me any problems?

Any update on when the hell this update is coming out? Last night my controller stopped working for a while.

I is not pleased.

I guess the only problem I've had is connecting my controller to the computer to recharge, I have to connect it to the ps3 by USB for it to work again.

I did have it charging in my comp before I used it last night. But it worked for maybe an hour before stopping.

Weird.

Yeah, I had to leave my controller connected to the ps3 for a few minutes.

Stop living in the past, you guys. (http://blog.us.playstation.com/2009/09/ps3-firmware-update-v3-01-now-available/)

In your XMB you have to go to Settings http://fp.scea.com/Content/Support/SystemUpdates/PS3/img/icns/icn_settings.gif> System Update> Select via Internet.

The update will be there. :p

Why didn't we get a usual notification about it?

Alright, got it. Here's hoping for smooth sailing.

Oh wait, lemme guess, it's optional for Slim owners because they don't need it? If so, I smell civil war :p
