By the composer of the score for Naruto Shippuden, Takanashi Yasuharu, this is the COMPLETE score of the 2007 anime series Toward the Terra, which has been released on DVD by Bandai Entertainment. The 3-volume manga that the anime is based on has also been released in the USA by Vertical Press under the name "To Terra".

Toward the Terra Original Soundtrack II

Both scores follow the genres of . . .
Orchestral, Majestic, Warm, Post-Rock, Electronica, Epic, Tense
Unlike the Shangri-La score I uploaded, this is actually a CD rip I upgraded to 320kbps. The 2nd OST also comes with the "TV Size" versions of the series' OP and ED themes. I "borrowed" a romanization I found online some time ago, but as I cannot translate Japanese all titles in the Japanese language remain in romaji.
I hope everyone finds these soundtracks to their liking.
I already had this and I want to contribute saying...
THIS IS GORGEOUS.

After I deleted hard guitar tracks and most of those warm and cheerful I found this score to be... exceptional. First of all, I deleted 'em cause they didn't fit the rest (at least in my opinion) and were quite distracting. Why? Because majority of those tracks is rather dark, tense, sometimes sad and sorrowful (those female vocals, strings... beautiful), almost without action, slow.
So now I've got electronica/ambient/orchestral score (in this order 'cause most of this score is actually electronica). And I'm loving it. It has fantastic, old-school sound, it is very well made (those pulsatory rhytms...) and - after all - I just can't resist to it's gloomy atmosphere.
It's one of the best things I've heard since some time. Great share. Thank you very much!

Personally I enjoyed the rock tracks, they added a nice spice and some variety to the OST that is already quite diverse with the genres and styles used. But I will agree with you, the way the vocals kick-started the 1st OST sticks with you for a long time. It is amazing.
No problem on sharing it, I just noticed this show's music has received no love here and I decided to let everyone get a stab at it.

This score deserves way more attention, it's basically what Mass Effect could have been if it was done by a talented japanese composer

Muchas Gracias,no conocia este autor,la BSO es una verdadera gozada.
One of the most underestimated Takanashi Yasuharu OSTs. It has many tracks that will let me reassure myself of how great this composer is.
Indeed it is. I was stuck for weeks with this soundtrack when o got it.
For me, best work he has ever done. :)
