So...

I made a thread asking for a request to get put up as an affiliate for our Final Fantasy XIV fansite, Final Fantasy XIV Core -- http://ponybutts.com ...

But instead all my posts I've made was erased without any explanation. Also since you can't even send private messages, I got no explanation.

Again, who do I speak to if I'd like to work out a link exchange? :)

The important people are not in right now. In fact, they probably don't want to talk to you. However, I can take a message for you?

PM Sarah about it. That's the only way you're going to get it done, and that's assuming she wants to.

You've got 5 posts now, your PM abilities will materialize shortly.

Thanks :) There are a lot of Final Fantasy websites out there, we're trying to think of the best ways to let Final Fantasy fans know of our site, without annoying anyone in the process of doing so.

For instance, my first post might have come off a bit too... direct. It was never my intention.

Your posts were probably deleted because of the site rules about advertising. Whoever saw you would have simply assumed you were a spammer. By the same token I'm obliged to delete your links in this thread. The reason for this is that if we allow it we'll just get inundated by everyone on the internet who owns a final fantasy site trying to get traffic.

If you're trying to get an affiliation, the proper way to go about it isn't through the forums, it's through contacting someone via the main web site. This is pretty much true for any web site. Notice how on the main page of ffshrine.org there's a sidebar and one of the sections on it is for affiliates. Hint: check that out.
