And this one is Magician.
bard's tale was probably too easy, it's practically spelled out there huh?
but no, it's not magician for your second guess
time for the easiest one in this thread. probably the easiest one there will ever be.

i don't know if there were really any rules but do you think you could just post one at a time? when you post multiple ones, it's kind of confusing because some get answered, some don't and people quote 3 pages after and it just gets a bit confusing
i could be the only one that has an issue with it though so if i am just ignore me :\
ah, i can limit myself to posting one at a time from now on if you want. i'll just have to try and remember which ones i haven't posted yet then.
arthurgolden
07-17-2009, 01:46 AM
I agree that it gets unwieldy when we're dealing with multiple posts, each with multiple puzzles. I can deal with three or four at a time, but seven at a time seems unnecessarily confusing. Just my two cents, though.

Totally Rad?

Pinball Quest?

Batman?

Big Nose the Caveman?

I have no idea what the Magic Johnson one is. Mahjongg? Earvin John? Magic John? 32 John? I'm close, aren't I? ;)
Magic John, the japanese Totally Rad.
here's a repost of the last unsolved one

10 bucks says you were planning on putting the 7th saga, also an Enix game, thinking it was too obscure that people would not know about it.
arthurgolden
07-20-2009, 02:44 PM
The obscurity of a game hasn't stopped me so far. But I wouldn't do 7th Saga because it would be too easy. The cover is just a tablet with "7th Saga." I'd be more likely to throw this song (

The second one above is an NES game. One of the words in the title is the activity that they're doing in the picture.

I'll throw another one in the mix. Here is the old (and still live) one and a new one:
Both are NES games.

Yep. Updating again...
The top one is a Compile game released officially in 1985 but also cloned and included in the multi-cart Power Player Super Joy III. It has since been released for the Virtual Console.
I'll wait on hints for the bottom one.

Revolution X.
still working on the top one.
ah! lunar pool!

No idea, although it looks familiar.
well here's a hint, my post contained all the letters to spell one of the words in this game's title, with some extra letters in the middle of the word, in the correct order.
huh, reading that to myself, it sounds like a somewhat confusing hint. ah well, you're smart, you'll get the hint i'm sure.

Catastrophe's right, but why does it say "Fighter's Edge" all over it? I searched for that and couldn't find it.
i dunno why it says that, but that's the box i found for it.

It's an old Capcom promotion. Get points, trade them for a Capcom sweater, etc.

Ogre Battle: The March of the Black Queen
Lord Brimstone
09-26-2009, 11:21 AM
Heh. You could almost guess that one with just the queen reference alone, since the game's Name comes from two songs from the Queen II album.
On a related note I totally love this game. The story, the game mechanics, and the music is just plain awesome.

Correct, Tanis Lionheart.
Yeah. I love the game, too. I bought it from Funco Land way back when for $80. Then it came out on Playstation. But I still prefer it on the SNES.

I just removed all my old pictures for this thread from my photobucket account a few days ago. There's some coincidental juju floating around here.
