Hm, well to be precise I didn't rip Armored Core because of the music but because it was the first to be published in Japan together with 4 other games. But now I won't try to rip the games chronologically anymore.
Rengoku has an electronical / techno style, so this could be hard to find loop as the stream normally doesn't look very different in different spots. At the moment, I'll finish Ape Escape Academy, Wipeout Pure and Resistance Retribution until next week. I'll just set Rengoku into the list. ;)

While I appreciate that you're trying to create a PSP collection, I have to wonder...

Why have you posted the box art etc. before you uploaded the things?
Why did you create multiple postings on the first page instead of putting all in one post?
Why are you posting every of these uploads extra into a thread, as well, instead of just putting them in here?

You should organize that a lot better, it's insanely confusing with all those pictures. You should ask a moderator (Jessie or someone) to mend all of these posts on the first page containing nothing but the box art into one big OP.

That'd be far better. Just a few suggestions.

Because some of us use Winamp, which plays basically every media format known to man.

This was from the very beginning of this thread when I planned to rip all PSP games chronologically but soon realized that I don't really want to rip eastern games. Basically that was after the Darkstalkers Chronicle Rip. I nevertheless kept the link because it was so much work to rip it.

@ all: why didn't anyone tell me that my BattleZone rip is errornous? I just discovered it by chance... Please tell me if something's sounding strange in my rips! Will soon release a re-rip in AT3 format and delete the MP3 version.

I've ripped Fireteam Bravo 1 and 2 in my old rip thread. Killzone's been ripped as well (not by me). If Alpha wants to do another version of Bravo 1 and 2, I won't care, but just as a precaution, those games are extremely shitty to rip, spent two weeks each on those games.

Think of it like Resistance Retribution. Same dev, same shitty gap situation with 2000+ segments I believe.

I've actually finished the re-rip but I can only upload it tomorrow evening. I'm not at home till then. But I can tell you that it has more music than the old one (about 150 tracks if I remember it right).

Just a heads up here, the 297 or so at3s in the BGM folder is actually leftover from another game called Adventure Player that lets you make your own text adventure game and those are the music choices you get, they are assorted tunes from other From Software games and maybe a few made specifically for it. It's really not the game's music since I didn't hear it played anywhere and most of them don't even play the full song but I doubt that'll stop you from converting them. The game's actual music must be hidden in another file, which one I have no clue since I don't know how to extract .at3s from other files. Just thought I'd let you know because I'm really looking forward to the game's rip.

Aside from the video music I can assure you that it's all from Adventure Player. Download Adventure Player if you don't believe me, you'll see that the exact same folder with all of that music is there.

Well, to be fair, there are SOME eastern games that are so obscure or lesser known, that they are ignored by pretty much everyone, even those from the eastern region. I am still interested in joining the PSP frenzy, but time has not been on my side lately.

If I do complete the "initial task" by the end of this year, I might branch myself off from one speciffic rule to enable eastern PSP games to be ripped by me.

Eh, I don't think you understood what I was saying. What I meant was that I might consider allowing eastern game requests for me, personally. It did not mean that I would completely abandon the fundamental aspect of this Thread or it's rules. This is how I was thinking about setting up the rules:

- If the eastern game has a soundtrack available (which I have about 3-4 OST Archive links for all regions), then I would not do it)

- I would only accept links to blatantly obscure eastern games, the ones that don't even get an OST OR has never been ripped before).

There are other perameters I need to account for and the concept is initialy flawed, but I believe it has potential to have a little more diversity. Don't get me wrong either, a lot of material you have ripped falls into the category I described to (no OST or never been ripped), so I hope you can understand where I'm comming from on that level.

Don't misunderstand what my intentions are. I will still be posting in this thread. Anything not within the perameters of your rules will be posted elsewhere is all.
