I wouldn't mind hearing this, either. Of course, as noted in this interview (
http://www.music4games.net/Features_Display.aspx?id=352) with Music4Games.net, an actual soundtrack release is not totally beyond the realm of possibility...
M4G: Will there be a PROTOTYPE soundtrack album release?
Sascha Dikiciyan & Cris Velasco: We hope so! Everyone has been pushing for one so we’re confident that it will happen.
Scott Morgan: I believe so. We are working on the mixes and track selections right now. It is just a matter of time before we get it out there for all to enjoy.

So, several tracks ripped from the PC version of the game are up for download on downloads.*********.com. however, the site is saying that the songs are "unavailable" on their server, and to check back later. anyone have any luck getting these files? if so, a compilation of them on megaupload or rapidshare would just make my day.

And the password is...?

Awesome. We're given a file without the password to open it. That and the size really makes me question the quality of the OST. I thought the game had more music than just a few songs.

alright, sorry, damn. password is gamemusichall DOT net. no spaces as usual. and the quality is fine, at least from the small bits I've listened to, and the filesize is small because they're just short music stings. Organic, you need some happy time.

Well, it's legit... but it's a bad line-in rip. There's a lot of hissing throughout. It'll work as a stopgap, though. Thanks for the link.

Alright guys, I realize now that the sound quality is utter rubbish at this point. They did say, however, that this was merely an alpha rip, a sort of preview of the upcoming full rip. I'll keep checking around and update you guys when anything new happens.

is that the entire thing? if i can get some time on my brother's computer, i could rip it from that site.
i can't do it on my computer because i have vista, but he has XP. i would use goldwave to do some line-in recording. i've done it before.

Looks like it's the major songs, at least it won't be long until a full rip is done.

Thanks for the heads-up; I was able to boot this up on IE and raid the Temporary Files folder.
http://www.sonicmayhem.com/prototype/mp3s/21-The_Last_Man.mp3 <-- NOTE: This one is broken on the site's end. It's not the link itself.
This, like 'First and Last Things', is another case of mispelling; the actual URL is
http://www.sonicmayhem.com/prototype/mp3s/21-The_Las_Man.mp3 (it's spelled correctly in the ID3 info, however).
