I need to ask everyone and i'm really picky when it comes to this. This isn't what you think it is but i always like to begin with a memorable video game whenever you make you first debut on your BRRRRAAANNNDDD NEW CONSOLE!!!!!!!!!!!

YES, i'm finally getting my first PS3 [Hopefully] and i would like to ask each of you gamefreaks what your opinion is or what game you liked to start off fresh with when you first break into that new console and take it out of the box.

It's been a very long time since i've been away from a video game console maybe even years but now i'm making my long time return into the Console Gaming World. [WoW excluded]

Specifically were talking about the PS3 right now and i understand there are alot of good games right now and for 2010 coming to the PS3 but tell me what is a good game for me to start off with?

It has to be something memorable, just like for some people's "first time experience" apply it to video games now! and it has to be a game that could last long not just for hours but maybe weeks or months that would keep me coming back to play more.

Any lucky video games out there who wants to start my adventure returning to the Gaming World?! ANYONE?! :)

Let me provide a short history of my "firsts"

NES: Super Mario Bros.
SNES: Super Mario World (aka Super Mario Bros. 4 (), as it SHOULD HAVE BEEN HERE IN THE STATES!!!!)
Nintendo 64: Super Mario 64
Nintendo GameCube: Metroid Prime (Oh snap crackle pop rice krispies dawg, Samus took out Mario's first streak!)
Nintendo Wii: Metroid Prime 3

PlayStation: Crash Bandicoot
PlayStation 2: Tekken Tag Tournament and Madden 2001 (let's be honest, PS2 had a mediocere launch lineup)
PlayStation 3: Resistance Fall of Man.

Never owned another maker's console like a Jaguar, 3DO or X-Box.

Now, as for what's out now, some of my personal favorites for the PS3, that I wish could have been my first, are: LittleBigPlanet, Heavenly Sword, Metal Gear Solid 4, Killzone 2 and Uncharted: Drakes Fortune. I'd like to think those 5 games provide a little of everything, minus the sports genres (unless you create your own sports game in LittleBigPlanet), of which racing would be my favorite like MotorStorm Pacific Rift and WipEout HD. My favorite online game is still Warhawk. I can play that for hours and it never gets old.

Nobody said anything bad about Enter the Matrix. In fact, it's so good, it's "Custom Painted Bumblebee busting a nut on Enter the Matrix" good!

It's a shit game, I won't deny it. So is Path of Neo :o

I didn't game at all during my undergraduate career and then I wanted to get back into it so I was like THIS IS AS GOOD A REASON AS ANY.
