Seems other people have downloaded it without any problems, perhaps your copy is corrupted? I'd suggest downloading again. If theres still a problem I'll double check the files... I used mediafire though, and that verifies files as they are uploaded and there was no problems.

I'm also having problems with part 08 of the archive, I've downloaded it 3 times now and I always get the same (corrupted) RAR file.

WinRAR complains about "CRC failed in CD1\Saori Kobayashi, Mariko Nanba, Eri Ito - Azel -Panzer Dragoon RPG- Memorial Album - 30 - Sona Mi Areru Ec Sancitu (Re-arranged).flac. The file is corrupt".

Perhaps someone who has the correct version could upload only that track, please?

can I ask how you got it to repair? the normal recovery tools in winrar still give me CRC errors with track 30 =/

What is the use to uplaod a file that converison is impossibleT___________T you sure file works is it possible ot reu�pload the part or a good version that is convertable?

I really have no idea why that part doesnt work for a few people, it cant be a problem with the file since others have downloaded it no problem. There is an issue when you download it for some reason.

JaKc, thanks for your effort but I have bad news: the song you uploaded is corrupted.

This time the problem is not the RAR file, I'm talking about the FLAC file itself, which you claim to have recovered from sazzrah's original upload. After successfully unpacking your RAR file, the resulting FLAC file is still broken.

Please check for yourself - it doesn't play past 4:48.

If you go to the command prompt and test the file using flac.exe you get this:
Got error code 2:FLAC__STREAM_DECODER_ERROR_STATUS_FRAME_CRC_MISM ATCH

I forcefully extracted that track from my broken part08 RAR file and it is bit-identical to yours. Unfortunately there's no way around this other than someone else uploading the correct FLAC file.

Yeah after some tests, effectively seems the FLAC file is corrupted (Not the RAR part 8) and doesn't play after 4:48 :-( (original length is 5:07)

Hope Sazzrah can reconvert Track 30 from his original CD1 and Re-upload it for us (instead of reuploading all the entire OST).

Please note we only need track 30 from CD1, the rest of the tracks are fine.

I know next to nothing about sites like Mediafire and Rapidshare, so this is just pure speculation, but I reckon the file you originally uploaded eventually got corrupted in their server; that's probably why some people got the good version, and the remaining got the broken one. I've attempted to download part08 multiple times, always getting the same erroneous RAR file, which yields the exact same broken FLAC as JaKc.

A single different byte is enough to corrupt a RAR file; however, creating an archive with as few as 1% error correction data should prevent that.

I've uploaded track 30 again with - as undisclosed suggested - a 1% recovery record. Hopefully there will be no problems.

I've also added some MP3 'missing tracks' which are in the game but not included on the soundtrack, including the Seekers Stronghold Theme. I thought it would be a nice reward after all the hassle of trying to get this album! What a mess it has been!

You're welcome - I tried fixing the original archive but it wouldn't work. I would have to reup the whole soundtrack again so I decided to go with just track 30. it's a hassle but better than doing it all again! I might do it next month for new downloaders.
