EDIT: nevermind. it JUST came on on tv just as i replied. it does look pretty freaking awesome. i at first thought it was a commercial for a halo movie or smth because i had the volume low and saw someone in a halo type suit

Joseph Gordon-Levitt is playing Cobra Commander. The fact that Christopher Eccleston is in this movie makes me want to see it. Too bad the fucker couldn't go for a few more seasons as The Doctor though...

I am not a fan of the Series, but I am going to check more on this Movie.

I was so into the movie when I first saw the preview, then the extended trailer came out and I completely lost faith in it!
They just had to bring the ace-in-the-hole and rely on stupid power armor!!!

When I first saw the power armor scene -before I knew it was power armor- I started thinking they were Cobra B.A.Ts going after Joes! Then the extended trailer came out where Commander Hawk tells the Joes about the enhancement armor! I almost barfed in my seat in the theater!

Like Vincentre said, Snake eyes is going to carry the movie!
Snake eyes vs. Storm Shadow will be the only thing good in that craptacular movie!!!

They've had his action figure and 12" doll at my local Target for about 2 weeks now. He looks like a burn victim, i.e. Freddy Krueger wearing a clear, see-through gas mask.

Like everyone has been saying, you can hardly tell it's even G.I. Joe until the end. That probably means it's gonna suck, but I could be wrong.

I don't mind Marlon Wayans being in the movie, I mean at first I was dreading that he was going to be roadblock, but he wasnt!
I just hate the fact that they gave them Power Suits! I mean the Joes are suppose to be the best of the best in covert ops, each joes with specific specialties! Now they're dependent on power suits to be bad asses!

Having no clue of G.I. Joe, I'm completely impartial. The flexiRobocop suits look quite odd to me, but the trailer does look quite promising.

As much as I have a soft spot for the Mummy trilogy for it silly campy charm this just looks terrible. You could literally cut in scenes from Transformers 2 and they would look identical. I say bring on Mummy 4. Yeah, I just said that.

Alright, i just came back from Gi-joe and it wasnt awful but it wasnt good (rate 2 out of 5 stars)

I DONT UNDERSTAND why they didnt make a full CG movie of Gi-joe with the original design character of the tv show, it will have been much better. ACTUALLY they should have done this

I saw the Movie on Tuesday, & I found it to be worth the 2 hours I spent viewing. The thing that puzzled me was at the end of
the Movie, where the President whom after greeting his Staff after arising from the safe Bunker from the attempted assault from
the Warheads just as he entered his Office, seemed to laidback. Remember the scene (nearing towards the end of the Movie)
where one of the Bodyguards (a member of the Secret Service) shot the rest of his colleagues, & as the President attempted to
look for somewhere to protect himself, a figure appeared out of a Door, & shocked the Presidnet, stating 'So that is what this is all
about'.
This leads me to wonder if that was indeed someone else posing as the President, which could mean there is another G.I. Joe
Movie developers are working on.

For the record, I loved the movie from start to finish. Yes, it was corny as hell and not a great film on any level, but it was fun, and sometimes that's good enough.
