Have any of you played silent Hill 1 and 2? Excellent game, really, the first one i think was better, aside from the power of the PS2, thus graphics lacked, but when it came out, it was "something different". i'm suprised it didn't do extreamly well...

Yeah it was a really good game. Though the power of PS1 isn't as great as PS2 the game looked great/ They solved this problem by letting u not see further then about 30feet. The game was perfect and u really had the feeling that u were walking in a city. Yeah I must say I'm surprised 2 that the game didn't do very well.

Geeze, it amazes me how many people hate this game..e.e;; Because the plot is a little hard to follow, they criticise it and call it crap. Geeze, lowsy gamers they are..

Yes, SH1 did lack some graphics...but that doesn't stop it from being the best horror game. Well, for me anyway...

SH2, another great hit, although I found this one easier to beat, it was still another great horro game, brought to you by the good guys at Konami...

I could point out some things, but then I would end up making a really long post...o.O;;

any word of SH3? news? I have heard some i think...

Is there gonna' be a 3rd? i certainly hope so. You could probably find news on gamespot.com, or gamefaqs.com Or maybe Konami.com....I'd have to try.

The thing that disapointed be about 2, was that it didn't really solve any of 1's plots..samaule...nothing was solved, just a new victim, i hope in 3 some of it is solved...

In the frist SH, wasn't it created by that little girl? That somehow all her nightmares came to life? I think I remember that being said somewhere in the first..

But I suppose it would also make sense, that SH is a place where people go to pay for their sins...

Also, yes, I was hoping that SH2 would revolve somewhere around one....when I heard it wansn't, I thought it was gonna' suck. But turns out, it was great. Probabloy the same situation with SH3..

My opinion about this game:

SH1 : Its atmosphere is very horrifying than RE, nice voice effect ( expecially in the school ), and finally....insteresting plot.
SH2 : Nice graphics, but....SHI is much better than this >_>

About SH3, there will be more "surprise" and more horrifying than SH2. In E3 ( i forgot when ) there is some demo about this game. The main character in SH3 is a young woman named Heather. Well, it has become Konami's tradition to make SH's characters that don't really know anything about weapons or everything that have some connection with military's stuff. I think that's all.

Hmm this is going to be weird not useing a guy..i wonder why they made it have a girl this time...welll they had Harry whitch is the best then the other guy! sorry i cant remember his name but why now would they put a girl into it?

Yeah i can't imagine a girl, just, so much less masculin...ewww, heh...I mean girls in silent hill are secondary characters, theres always girls, but never the main, tisk tisk

Yeah, no kidding. The chicks in SH games always look weird. Weird and creepy lookin'...

I don't see what's so weird, as exampled, a portion of Survival Horror games have female leads...

There is going to be a SH3 everyone!!!!!!!!! It is suppose to be out in October 2003, but will probabley come out in May 2003

So what? You want a sequel? I must admit, it would be nice to find all these things out, but to make a whole new game out of it would probably be a waste. Why bother? Let's just go on and take whatever's new, it's sure to be good. THe last two were, why won't this one be?

the last two were good cause they were somethin new, repretition will eventualy kill it...u think if 1 and 2 were good every sequal will be good?

I think the Silent Hill series is great. I've beaten the first one. It's been about a year or more ago. I've played the Resident Evil games, but they didn't give me the spooky feeling that Silent Hill did. Excellent story, great graphics. It gets a Kitten seal of approval.

I have Silent Hill 2, but I couldn't get into it as good as I did with this first one. Right now my brother is playing it, so I may see how he is liking it, and I'll start my game back.

your not suppose to find anything out about the games.....there suppose to be all wierd and that......dont know about you but I understood the 2nd one clear as day, and if you need it explaining to you, I'm more than happy to.... :D

Yes silent hill 2 was easy, because it was just carrying on what was in silent hill 1. I understood it, but silent hill 1, Sameual, and so many stories...well some of it is near explained, how the cult moved in...ahh nevermind, i still like my stiory about silent hill 34 and being a dog:D o_O

But on SH2 did you understand how Maria and James only saw those....monsters.....whatever you call em..........that baffled me to begin with :)
