This is a project I started over a week ago. Using a Japanese program called "L2WAV.EXE," I've ripped and looped just about every track of music from the Sega CD version of Lunar II. The only thing that's missing are some cues here and there that were used in cinema and dialog scenes. Otherwise, all the great BGM tracks from Eternal Blue are compiled below in their 16kHz glory. I also threw in the two Jennifer Stigile songs.

Enjoy!

(2014 UPDATE) Sadly, the files were uploaded to Megaupload, which was famously shut down by my country's government. And since the original files were on my computer's old hard drive, which I can't access to due hardware errors that surfaced earlier this year, this awesome rip may be lost forever. :-(

If anyone downloaded my rip of the Lunar:EB PCM tracks and still has it on their hard drive, please do everyone a favor and upload them to a new host.

May Althena Bless you sir. Many thanks for this....

EDIT: Finally listened to them all & if I was grading you on this, you'd get a 98%. Its a great & much appreciated effort & only small complaints are not sure why the Pentagulia tracks got split up as its oddly one of my fave tracks when its all togetherr & the 1st battle w/ Zophar, Hiros voice over is in there...Im sure if it wasnt something that was accidently overlooked u had your reasons & there more than likely was no way around it technically speaking but just incase you never realized it...I did lol.

Really not trying to sound nitpicky & unapprecaitive as u shared your own personal project w/ all of us...kinda a just in case post, in case u just simply missed it.

Any chance you'd ever get the urge to do the same with original Silver Star music? I know most of it is accesible on the Sega CD but upping the quality & especially looping it so it plays 3-4 times in a track is all beyond me...would greatly be appeciated also but eitherway thanks again for the EB material...

They were split up into two individual PCM files, so I made them two individual tracks. As for the Zophar Battle music, Hiro's voice-over is part of the PCM file, so there's no working around that. I tried pieceing together a voiceless version, but it never felt right. I think the music sounds kind of nice with his declaration at the beginning, actually. :)

As for "Silver Star", I can't make a better soundtrack than the game disc itself. Sorry, although I could rip the tracks @ 320 kbps and post that. (Looping the songs is pointless since the game itself simply "loops" by playing the track again. The same effect can be achieved on WinAmp by selecting "repeat" and playing the song over and over.)

Also, spaceworlder, can I request the cutes and voiced clips you cut out? I'm compiling a COMPLETE version for my Songs of the Silver Star thread.

I've long since deleted the files that were the basis for this rip, but...

I used this great Japanese program to rip the music and sound files. It even loops the music for you. If you want, I'll send it to you and you can rip the files you want.

Hi, Joseph. I downloaded the set way back in the day and kept it. Took me a while, but here it is again. I discarded your MP3 for Zophar's first battle theme and replaced it with a new one because the old had an annoying voice over. Apart from that and other minor alterations, it's pretty much the way you uploaded it. Thank you for such a wonderful share.

Thanks for this mostly,

I was hoping to find a better hosted site, or maybe have something that doesn't have a trojan attached. anything possibly than those two disc .zip.exe that just infected my dummy comupter (made for testing downloads)

I'd super appreciate it.

Hey there. Can anyone re-up? It would be nice to have it on Mega.nz, which seems reliable.
