You know the concert made me look at both Quistis and Selphie in very different lights. They both have musical apptitude for 7 instruments and one form of dance. A very attractive quality in a women. Where as all Rinoa did was put on a slutty short dress and try and seduce Squall and that went very badly.

Rinoa seems to me like the kind of girl who thought she had a very good relationship with a guy who was using her for sex one time. After that time, he dumped her. Rinoa tried to get back at him by quickly finding someone else for two reasons:
1. to justify herself and make her feel like a needed and wanted person, and
2. to make her first boyfriend think that she doesn't need him, when in actuality, all she wants is to be back with him.
Think about it: why did she get hooked on Squall so quickly, and be so persistent?

In my opinion, Selphie is the only good choice: innocent, childish, hasn't quite matured to be making decisions concerning her sexuality, although she obviously digs dudes, just not sexually.

Because she is the only one of the three that is actually capable of acting like an adult. Rinoa is a typical spoiled teenager, while Selphie is a typical ditzy teenager.

Quistis does have her issues, but at least she manages to handle them to some degree, and unlike Selphie (and the rest of the team, for that matter), she is somewhat believable as an elite mercenary.

Rinoa - She's beautiful, and speaks from her heart. She's not afraid to go after what she wants(Squall, the anti-social bastard in the beginning), and almost always acts on her emotions.

And the last would be Quistis..I didn't really like her beyond getting hit by Ifrit while I waited for the time to go down to 7 seconds. Though she did have some good remarks.

She's pretty, caring, and believable as a 16(?) year old being thrown in an epic battle against an evil sorceress. Her flaws make her more believable and relatable.

I vote for Rinoa. I admit, in the game she can come across as a rather... excessive emotional girl at times, but she does have a sort of strength to her.

That and my girlfriend has cosplayed her at a convention and she looked HAWT!!

I never liked Quistis, tried too hard at things. Selphie was ok, but her choice of using the word 'Booyaka' as a catchphrase irritated me. Besides, my partner has cosplayed Rinoa a few times, so that also explains my attraction :D

Final Fantasy XIII has some hot chicks that don't exactly fit the mold. But none of them get the guy. Fang & Vanille are generally considered to be lesbians and Lightning's either asexual or too busy for romance. Plus, she doesn't exactly have any good options amongst the game's playable cast. But, there's always Final Fantasy XIII-2...

Yeah, the romance element of Final Fantasy VIII is what makes it the best game for me. It made the whole game to much more engaging and interesting. Final Fantasy XIII was certainly lacking in a lot of things, but in particular that romance we'd seen in previous installment.

Selphie because she's just one of those people that can light up a room with her cheeriness. She's always in a good mood, she knows how to hold her own in battle and she's really cute. Rinoa is beautiful, timid kind of.. Quite sexy. But Selphie gets the vote because I need more happy in my life and Selphie could sure as hell deliver! :)
