Do you thikn its right? Does this annoy you?

I dont come across a lot of cheaters in games like Team Fortress Classic which I play most but I come across a LOT in CS. Ive even downloaded OGC once myself(and found myself being banned from a lot of UK2.net servers and I never even used it)

There are also clans out like [myg0t] and such who just spam servers and then crash em, Ive joined one server that had over 10 myg0ts in it, funny as hell I thought, I got a real kick out of it and shit but it got annoying after a while.

Anyway What do you say to cheating? Do you cheat?

FPS's...well, I've never played an online one, so in this case, I don't think it's wrong. I just use cheats for fun. Like "Golden Eye 007" for the N64, is not a game, until you have cheats. Which, I beat before I did get the cheats. Which is what I usuaully do, I'll beat a game before using cheats of any kind. What's another...Quake. Only code I used was "God Mode" when I was stuck on a really hard monster, when I was at low health or had low ammo. Otherwise, not much to cheat for.

Personally, I don't think it's wrong if you're just using 'em for fun. But if it's your first time playing, and you use cheats through the whole thing, that's another story.

I play alot of Unreal Tournament online and I absolustely don't c the fun fun of using an aimbot or anything alike. I want to b beaten fair but not by someone who doesn't even has to play. To measure ur skill is more of challenge, the best wins not the one with the aimbot.

Using cheats for fun is cool. However, it can also get boring really quickly. I beat the campaigns on Starcraft by cheating. I got really bored with the game, because having all the resources you want really isn't that fun. Except for, uh, Big Game Hunters and clones *cough* which aren't really cheating because pls die k thx.

However, using cheats for fun on servers where other, real people are playing is just stupid. And if you do it, I can guarantee that you are more or less hated by pretty much everybody. How much fun can it be killing people with the lack of skill that you are exhibiting? It would really, seriously take a sadist or potential serial killer to just kill people who have no chance just for the hell of it. Misplaced modifiers ahoy.

Also, Goldeneye (non-multiplayer) is no fun without cheats.

It wouldnt be so much UT for cheats, Counter-strike is probably the biggest cheated game online for an FPS.

There are people who you unload Clips of ammo into, ab they are not hurt but run over to you and stab you 50 times in 3 seconds with a knife.
There is speed hacks where you can go to the enemy spawn right away and kill everyone who is still buying weapons.
There is wallhack where you can see everyone behind walls, and sometimes shoot through walls, so if you got a sniper rifle you could kill everyone in the map.
There is of course Aimbot, where it shoots and aims for you, all you do if move.
There is also a noclipping mode where you can go hide in a wall, wait on someone running past you when you pop out of the wall, empty a clip from an AK into this back and go back into the wall.

they dont show a good chance to normal players, and its not fair.

To me cheaters are ass-monkeys who can't play the game. I constantly find myself being killed in CS because some cheater is using an aimbot. I can sneak up behind someone, unload my AK on them, they turn around and kill me with a headshot, WHILE I'm shooting at them. Add that to the general lagginess and unreliability of AOL and you have someone who gets killed a lot.

When was the last time you played? They actually fixed the speed hacks in a patch a while back. Otherwise, most of the cheats still do exist, though...
