I need some help here. For some time I have thrown around the idea of subscribing to an anime magazine. And today I finally decided to do it.

But I want a good magazine that is fairly cheap and not too expensive. So just give me your all around thoughts upon the matter.

I get Animerica. It's around 5-6 dollars per issue but it's pretty big with 5 different mangas inside of it. I love it to bits becuase Fushigi Yuugi is in it. :)

my sister and i buy animerica, which has articles about various anime, listings of the most popular anime and manga in the u.s. and in japan, and also what anime is being released each month . . . it is pretty informative if you're looking to find out about different anime. there's also sections about what's hot in japan, different video games and anime/video game merchandise, a fan art section, and contests every month to win various anime goods (tapes, posters, etc)

we also buy animerica extra, which has various manga series of different genres and styles running in it. currently, it has video girl ai, fushigi yuugi, marionette (sp?) generation, steam detectives, chicago, and revolutionary girl utena (to the best of my memory). they are all good stories, but most of them are in the middle, so i don't know.

Ive heard that therell be an American version of the very famous Shonen Jump magazine?

http://www.viz.com/news/pressreleases/2002/06/vizshueisha.html

That seems to be promising. ^-^ Maybe youll finally get to read some of the great series that started in this legendary anthology... such as Naruto, Shaman King, Hunter X Hunter, Rurouni Kenshin, One Piece and I will not mention Dragonball and Yu-Gi-Oh...

And if you get to read Gun Blaze West before I do, Im going to throw you to death with cookies!
