What do posters think of this disgusting movie? I'm interested in this sort of thing because evil is important to know about. You have to know your enemies. The enemy in question now is a dark, perverse form of entertainment where even when seen but not fully shown, would utterly shame the grandparents of this generation.

I have not seen On the Doll, but it looks like it's in the field of Requiem for a Dream, except instead of drug abuse, it deals with sexual abuse. Requiem also had separate stories interweave to show the dangers of drug abuse. I'm not sure just how disgusting On the Doll is, but, if you're really interested in controversial films, SS Camp Women's Hell, Philosophy of a Knife, and Salo (or The 120 Days of Sodom) are extremely controversial for their perversity, and not for the faint of heart.

All the films thus mentionned do have a moral and ethical lesson, though. So it's not just blind perversity. They're reflections of society, whether the stories are true or not; for example, everything in Philosophy of a Knife actually happened, and the director's trying to convey the sheer inhumanity of which people are capable. I think you have to stop looking at these movies as simply disgusting, they're more than that because they use disgust to convey meaning. And maybe the grandparents of this generation should be ashamed; I haven't seen On the Doll, but hey, it could be plausible, we have only ourselves to blame for this ugly society.
