I just picked up the English version and it has great BGM. Hopefully someone will be able to make a gamerip down the road.

Yes, the Asian version that was released last week is completely English aside from the title music which is still in Japanese naturally.

Well to get the bad stuff out of the way first, the story is pretty awful, and is what I think is keeping the game from being localized for Europe/USA. It's pretty nonsensical (read: batshit crazy) and very "Japanese", but thankfully kept to a minimum for the most part.

The graphics and music are really nice, and the exploration is pretty fun. All of the environments you visit in the atoll in the game are connected, and you navigate seamlessly from one to another as you unlock these buoys that let you proceed further. Discovering new species of fish and other interesting things underwater earns you credits you use towards purchasing batteries to power the buoys. It took me about 7.5 hours to complete the main plotline and visit all of the locations in the game, but finding all 300+ fish in the game and completing the side missions has taken me over 20. Your mileage will vary depending on how much you like collectathons.

I you've happened to play Endless Ocean and enjoyed it, you should enjoy this game as well.
