You know how you can buy the villa in Costa del Sol for like 300,000 gil? Is there any point to it besides being able to sleep there? Cuz I saved up just to buy the villa, thinking it had some importance and would net me a rare item or something. I was very disappointed.

No, there's pretty much no point to it at all. There is no way you'll need to sleep that much before you get the airship, where you can restore HP/MP/status for free anyway.
