Just got this game and its got an awesome soundtrack. Its a cute-em up. Tracks ripped straight from the game.

I’m going to give this a listen and convert it for my own purposes (loops, ect). Give me some time and I can make an mp3 version of the original.

Trying, but getting hit in this game is like losing a finger.

I was actually wondering, if you used DU to get the music, why was the ending not included? Do you know if the end is a video or something? Perhaps it’s hiding in another pak or dat file?

LOL! Talk about that, I lost at the magma stage boss who
is a resemblance to the Multi-Turrent wheel in R-Type. Was
the ONLY stage I started losing in and enough to fail the
mission entirely after losing my power….. I could never go
past the swarm after that, and when I WAS lucky enough…
only for the boss with the two cores in the middle
(Gradius + R-Type anyone?) finished me off for good =^;_;^=
Talk about a catfight… no respect! Ouch! I still have it, actually.

I was so attached I kept going till that other girl finished me
off.

The multi-turrent wheel is the stage four boss. I have bad luck on this stage, because of the rotating lava rocks and mini ships that shoot green spheres at you. Stage four is magma stage.

Depending on if I can devote the time to it, I’ll see what I can do. You know quite well I need my files labeled. 🙂

Been playing the game a bit. Cute, but without understanding japanese, I’m missing quite a bit. I think I’ll wait for the release of Tomboyish Witches and then I’ll try in full english.

So far, this is the only labeling I can offer:
Stage 1: "Eihemurand" Taking The Express Magic Train
Stage 2: Forest Of "Mogorc"
Stage 3: Huge Living Thing Of Snow World "Arastof"
Stage 4: "Gatoi" Mountain, Huge Gate Of Scorching Abolition Ruins Of "Cariata"
Stage 5: Different World "Necrotantam"
Stage 6: Different World "Necrofantam" Infinite Corridor
(haven’t been able to confirm where Stage 3A and 4A play – haven’t made it that far)

Stage 3A and 4A have intros to the stages. I may have inconsistently re-named them wrong. 3A might have stage 3 intro and 4A might not have the intro to stage 4.

The intros to the stages are unused in the game.

Today, I’m going to try and the original rip in mp3 format with the missing tracks and labels for the stages. I’m also going to include tracks from the story mode. These tracks play and various parts of the game. Some during the prelude after you select your character and some in dialogues.

AquaCD is an item you can buy in the shop for 58000 gold (might be cheaper on easier difficulty levels). It just plays Aqua’s (blue-haired witch) prelude theme for a short duration during game play.

Almost beat the game last night, but I seemed to uncover a death bug.

On my first run, I was on stage five with no lives left. I was under a barrage of fire and I tried to enter the shop, but the same time I hit the door I got hit. I bought an extra life in the shop, but when I came out of the shop, the game was as is, before I went in and I fell out of the sky. After I cleared the enemies on the screen, the game scrolled and scrolled but no more enemies appeared. Even when it scrolled to the bottom where the boss would be it just kept scrolling. Had no choice, but to restart.

Second run I made it to stage six using no continues, but eventually lost all my lives. I chose to continue out of frustration and this was at the end of the stage before you meet the final boss and guess what. The game continued to scroll with no enemies appearing and no boss. Gave up. Damn good run too. I actually cleared the first stage with 60k gold.

Don’t give up! Everyone’s cheering you on!

Download isn’t working. Filefactory giving me beef about entering a code.

Did you download anything from File Factory prior to trying? I had that problem after downloading something (free download limit). I waited a few hours and then it worked just fine.

Say, are there any new or remixed songs in Trouble Witches Neo? I just grabbed Neo from Xbox Live Arcade and I am LOVING IT, despite how much I suck at bullet hell shooters. Or are all the songs still the same as in the original? I particularly like the final boss themes and the theme of the castle with the floating cubes (stage 5).

Off-topic: the English voice actors are kinda bleh in Neo, so keep Japanese speech on.
