Tifa- Roberta
Barret- Robert
Aeris- Lucinda
Red Xii- Bert
Yuffie- Berta
Vincent- Bobert
Cid- Paul

please don't ask why i changed them, it was funny! it bothers my brother, ha ha ha!! so, that makes it more enjoyable for me.

<font color=red face="comic sans ms">I don't change the names of my characters. It gets far too confusing for me, and I'm crap at thinking up names anyway. I once called Red XIII as Nanaki, but when I got to Cosmo Canyon, Cloud still wondered who Nanaki is anyway... :uh?:

So yeah, I just keep the original names now. ;)

I change the names to match those of friends that they resemble in every RPG, at least all the ones that will let you do it.

Nah I never change names just becouse I come up with crap names and the original names r better. Thoug I always call Red XIII Nanaki cuz it looks better, but it still is funny when u reach Cosmo Canyon Cloud doesn't know who Nanaki is and then u get a very intelligent conversation (humph) the guy'll say Nanaki is Nanaki LOL.

I never bothered of editing a name, too lazy maybe but I seem to miss the point of changing names o_o The original ones are good enough and it's not like I read and want to know every characters name or so, just as long as I'm able to play xD

Well I did change there name only one time but I didn't like it, but here's what I named them.

I named all of the characters after people I know from school, Cloud is me and Tifa is my girlfriend.

Cloud-Vincent
Tifa-Samantha
Barret-I left Barret
Aeris-Meredyth
Yuffie-I left Yuffie
Vincent-Jordan
Cid-David
Red-I left it Red

I would never change their names because I mean, whats the point. Its much better when you see their real names.

Sephiroth6, their real names are what you choose to call them as.

Yeah I agree there names are only what you want them to be that's how it is.

well..i like just to keep the charecters name their own names if i change then it like changes the game.

The naming characters after friends and school people sounds cool. Never thought of it before, but I'll be sure to now.

I NEVER and I mean NEVER *lol*....change the names :)
But I DO change one...and thats Red XIII.....I just take the XIII off and have his name as Red :).....dont know why but the XIII bothers me...I mean you wouldn't go around calling him that would ya????? hmmmmmmmmmm :)

I always rename my characters as friends but i did once name Cloud to Sephiroth and Barret to Cid.
