By the way, has anyone ripped the BT2 tracks from Raging Blast 2 newer copy? The RB2-BT2 tracks have clear audio quality and would love to listen to them with that quality, the PS2 BT2 rip is muffled. :-/

This probably has something to do with 24KHz sound frequency used in both versions of BT2. Anyways here (http://forums.ffshrine.org/f70/dbz-raging-blast-2-a-113486/#post1987237) I have posted links to RB2 rip again by Infernus Animositas an again in native CRI sound format. If you managed to play back Sparking! series music I posted previously then you should be fine with this one too. Sorry if I think about you as ignorant of the means of listening to ADX files but most people here get completely lost after stumbling upon anything but MP3 so I try to play safe here.

For video game soundtracks I could care less if they're FLAC or MP3, what matters is that they're available and with decent audio quality (muffled doesn't count as decent, tho), for VGM I do prefer MP3, unless the soundtrack is official and the rip was ripped officially from the disc itself.

Over at SoundtrackHeaven the uploader has uploaded FLAC rips (Ripped by Infernus Animositas) of BT2 through BT3, plus others, but these two are the ones which I've been wanting most since the rips I have sound too muffled and kind of really shitty.

If anyone wants I could upload an MP3 320 Kbps version later, since for me, this is game-rip music and I don't really see much point having it on FLAC I prefer it for moments like this on MP3 instead.

Edit: It doesn't even sound that great on a FLAC rip, sadly, BT2's OST on RB2 is where it truly sounds optimum!

Bitrate: 192 Kbps (Because I've compared FLAC + MP3 320 Kbps + MP3 192 Kbps and didn't find any noticeable different other than the size being smaller (imo it's worthless to have it on FLAC since the only thing that's bigger is the size of the files) or bigger)

It was converted from the FLAC edition available to MP3 320 Kbps, for my Dragon Ball VGM Collection I figured it was pointless to consume so much space for a PS2 soundtrack rip when they don't sound all that great compared to the technology now available. not sure what you mean, mirrorcreator gives you many choices of links to download from. That's the reason why I use it and the links stay up for a long time(6 months), with the potential to stay up longer if someone views it. With how strict Mediafire has gotten, I personally dont think it's a good idea to upload there. Yes it's efficient, but I know of many people who have had all their uploads taken down, leaving them unwilling to upload everything they have again. So pretty much I wont be using Mediafire.

you're in luck, because I ripped that about a couple weeks ago because I wanted to see if it differed from Jessie's rip, and you're right those ones are missing. I'll upload it later on :)

True, Another Road gets more attention. Although they both have recycled music from DBZ Budokai 1-3, it has more exclusive tracks to that one.

Downloading the iso, I'll let it finish during the night while I sleep. I'm hoping I got the correct version as I have been seeing that several people on the net have been complaining that the game's music was replaced with Budokai Tenkaichi 2 because of the Kenji Yamamoto scandal (http://www.animenewsnetwork.com/news/2011-03-10/toei-replaces-possibly-infringing-dragon-ball-kai-music). Very unfortunate. Surprisingly though, this has led me to do a little researching and have found out that Kenji Yamamoto actually didn't even compose the music to Budokai Tenkaichi 2. Sad to know that after all these years of enjoying the tunes from that game the most out of any other DBZ game that they have actually been done by other composers(I saw the credits to the game on youtube which list Hideyuki Fukasawa, Takanori Arima, Hiromi Mizutani, Kenji Fujisawa, and Tadayoshi Makino). I'm honestly very disappointed and I dont even know what to say of it. I'm hoping Raging Blast 2 has the original music from the fist copies of the game before they were later removed and replaced .

Alright, I've gotten all the tracks tagged and numbered according to the in-game sound test. I was able to find a 90 minute video of it on Nico Nico Douga, so the names couldn't be more accurate. I listened to each song to ensure everything is correct. I'll try to upload the rip tomorrow evening if I can.

That's great! If for some reason you couldn't obtain the info for each track, there's no way I would've been able to do it myself, considering my first copy of the game that had the original soundtrack (and not the replaced soundtrack on the newer copies of the game) broke a long time ago.

what?? battle of gods is not Yamamoto, its Norihito Sumitomo.

That's why I said "the other guy", and now that you made me remember it is Sumitomo. His music in Kai 2014 has been either a hit or miss, mostly a miss.

that is never my problem... oddly, I always say people to use google chrome... I only use google chrome to be able to download from MEG and upload to it. Firefox does not like him, and I am not going to update my firefox because of that.
Some times you need patience or the connection might be slow in your part so it can download. Me for example, I can only download from mega after midnight, because during day, for some reason my connection is not speedy enough for mega.

Did you not play the American version? The Japanese version featured remixed anime music, and the American version had original music... which sucked hard.

I did not play any..... I did play the wii version though. I have the "Dragon Ball Z: Sparking! METEOR" rip somewhere (that's the original Tenkaichi 3 name), and the american version too, did not knew it was american version at all.

I took liberty to tag the files with the proper artists composers, and arrangers. Instrumental tracks from original vocal tracks have the arranger as main artist. (why is there a DBGT song in the game??)

Yes, it's known that all international versions have the replacement score. People just alternatively say "American version" since they're from the US, but they know Americans had nothing to do with the new music for the game(well, most people, I do sometimes see people claiming that the replacement music was done by Western composers, which is incorrect).

Namco Bandai are the ones that publish and distribute the games(with Atari handling the Western shores back in those days), but it isn't really an issue of not getting a composer or not having new music, as after all, they did have one of their own composers go through the trouble of doing an entirely original score for international copies(in BT3's case, it would be Toshiyuki Kishi, who would later do RB1). The reason why the Spike games utilized synth rearrangements of the anime's score was to capture the feel of the show. However, due to rights issues, the international versions couldn't get the music based on the TV series' original score and needed new music.

There is some GT content in the game. You may notice some early Dragon Ball arrangements being used too for the story mode and the end credits too, as the game packed in a few DB characters as well.
