As titled, its been years since i stopped playing ff tactics and only had the chance to play it all over this year again.Unfortunately,I cant play as well as i did years ago so im posting this topic to ask for some opinions or helps :P,

So what kinda of jobs/classes would you like to have in your team?
And what jobs do you think Ramza should take ?
IMO,I prefer ninja and lancers. But im pretty much stuck between this two, since lancers offer a safe battle whereas ninja offers the dual wield swords ability.

As for my team I have
(i)a summoner who has mastered time mage, black and white mage spells
(ii)a priest who mastered white and black mage plus oracle spells, and has met the requirements to be a Calculator (whatever you call it).And has the ability to wield guns regardless of jobs
(iii)a monk who has mastered nothing.

I personally dont use Agrias or Mustadio for the game since i think they're both overpowered.

Before i end my post,i have a few more questions to ask
(i)How does your zodiac sign affects you and others in the battlefield?
(ii)Does CT means Casting Time?
(iii)Does having dual swords is better than having a javelin ?
(iv)How do you use calculators efficiently in terms of battle?
(v)Are calculators the slowest moving class in terms of speed?

Im not gonna answer all those questions too much effort in the morning. I like making Ramza a Lancer, I like pulling together a Samurai, Ninja, couple of knights, black mage, and white mage usually, but you get so many characters through out the game, But I like to mold about 6 or 7 of my own.

oh yeah, and this is the wrong thread for this shit

Does having a monster like chocobos or dragons benefit you on the battlefield?
And sorry,i had no idea where to put this thread other than this place since it had the title "FF Classics"

I use a chocobo once in a while. I don't really mess with using monsters, I'll use a red chocobo when they come along.

Can't answer the questions for zodiac signs cause I've actually never did pay attention to them.

CT is like "count time" not sured. . . haven't play for a long time either.

I prefer dual sword over javelin, unless you're cautious about some of the counters that the opponent may have such as hamedo. Using Dual sword with the right weapon can cause massive damage.

And for the calculator, yes they are the slowest. I normally finish the battle using him only once, but that's all you need. With that in mind, I rarely ever use them. But their math skills in battle can really prove to be useful. What I normally do with them is to equip the singing/dancing skills. That way, they can actually contribute to the battle. After mastering the the calculator, I normally switch it to a different class cause I really hate using him at such low speed.

As for Ramza, I really prefer to keep him at the squire class, especially when he learned scream. After screaming a few turns, you're almost unstoppable, but you better not die. . . otherwise your turns will pass by before your party can even revive you.

Hey, you should try out this team. . .
2 dancers
2 singers
1 mime

equip the 2 dancers and singers with the "distribute" counter from the calculator class and other skills that allow you to move further. I tend to avoid teleport cause I always have bad luck with it. Have the singers perform the healing song and the speed song while the dancers do the witznobits (the one dance that do damage) and the one dance where it changes them to frogs. . . (think its called the last dance). Sit back and enjoy the show. The idea is to move the singers and dancers away from the fight and using the mime to fight, but don't let the mime fight unless its necessary. If the mime gets injured, the healing songs and the distribution will heal him up.
