Noble friends, I created an album containing the 100 best songs, video game, a variety of styles, from the current 16-bit era, containing the names of the songs, the album, composer and the number of catalogue.

I know that many will disagree with my list criticising it severely, because there are several other songs that should be included without challenge. However, I humbly that considers the following criteria of evaluation:

ORIGINALITY: is the creativity of composing music as beautiful, is by its difficulty, simplicity and innovation.

I hope you have enjoyed the topic that created because it was not a difficult task that required years of research. I like that dear friends postassem their favorite music that is not esquadraram the list, so we will add it, eliminating a song of the album.

Let your criticism and / or suggestions, but I respectfully not pick up heavy criticism in the negative, because the work that was performed exclusively FOR US.

And finally, are added only THE ORIGINAL VERSIONS OF SONGS. None of arranged soundtrack. So, you won't find the songs of Kingo of Fighter AST, Guilty Gear Dreamcast Version, The Last Blade AST. In future I create an album containing the 50 Best Arranged Soundtracks.

And someone can help me, AS A BIG AND NOBLE FAVOR, rip the muscs from the game "SPEED POWER GUNBIKE"? I really like this soundtracks. There are two musicas that can be in the 100 Best Game Songs, but i don't know how rip the musicas. Please, help me, if you can.

Just from looking at the tracklist it seems there's far too many Japanese game tracks in there. Music from eastern games is completely different to that of western games, and you're missing out on some really good western tracks. I have most of the songs in this playlist already and even just thinking about them I can say it's a little too repetitive. You need to branch out more, away from the JRPG's and Capcom vaults.

Noble friend, ThePhotoshop... you all right. Actually there is a difference between songs from the east to the music of the West. However, my intention is to launch an album with the 100 best songs so that we could change it. In other words, to present their songs and then we'll make a criterion to remove a song from the list to add to yours. I want to do something very topic of this community, okay.

You want a suggestion instead of OWA? Well, if you really want some "dark" music, there, I'd suggest you "The Chosen One" by A2, which appears in Shadow the Hedgehog and on the Vocal Trax-album (http://vgmdb.net/album/2146).
One Winged Angel is too bad to be so overrated. Especially the beginning of the song is for me as musician a pain to hear. And the Latin text is pseudo-badass. It's a really bad song.

Alundra, Doom, Drakengard 2, Ace Attorney series, Trauma Center, Romance of the Three Kingdoms, Breath of Fire... There are serious blanks at least as far as I can see. But that's kind of unavoidable when trying to selet 100 best songs from a subjective viewpoint; I mean, I see a lot of "gears" in that list, and I havn't played such a game before :P

I know more songs that could be in such a list, actually. I'd say take a look at Adventures of Lomax, X-Com: UFO, Kirby, Portal, Command and Conquer, Crash Bandicoot, more recent Mega Man games.... and so on, and so on.

But really. It's your list. Do what you want to do with it ^^

I agree with you, Mikker, that choice is a very difficult and requires great patience to choose the 100 best songs of games of all time. Meanwhile, I launched my list and I intended to share with members of FFShrine with their music, making OUR list and not just mine.

I know that you have several other songs that could fall, but you only mentioned the name of the game, not the songs. I would tell you the name of their favorite music and withdraw those that are on the list, until I could not even hear all the songs in the world.

One-Winged Angel is an overrated piece of shit and if it didn't have the mama's boy attached to it, people would be less likely to remember it than the first section of The Wedding Waltz.

Hey, Black Knight, I know there are so many Music Lovers that don't like OWA, but when you eliminate a song, you should propose another song to enter the place of it. No just criticizes the list, but to propose another music to make it better.

Dancing Mad be in the list, disc 4. But Battle at the Big Bridge, is not. Do you want Battle at the Big Bridge be on the list?

I want to be very clear: ALL ARE FREE TO CRITICIZE THE LIST, BUT CHOOSE OTHER FAVORIT MUSIC TO REPLACING THE MUSIC ELIMITED FROM THE LIST.

My intention is to make our list, members of the FFS. So not only are the criticisms, choose a favorite song to put in place that is not of your choosing.

Bom, na verdade, quando digo "sorry for my poor English", na verdade quero apologizar os poss�veis erros, se existirem. E quando mensiono "I'm Brazilian", a minha inten��o n�o � a de dizer que os brasileiros falam mal pacas, mas � porque sou um estrangeiro que tenta manter uma comunica��o com os usu�rios do f�rum, pois meu vocabul�rio � um pouco limitado, e �s vezes gostaria de explicar melhor as situa��es, s� que minhas limita��es lexicol�gicas n�o permitem. Como deve ser de seu conhecimento, aqui na net, as vezes fica dif�cil expressar as id�ias at� em nossa pr�pria l�ngua. Isso ocorre, dentre outros motivos, pela falta de um complemento gestual, ou entona��o de uma palavra... Talvez seja isso que me prejudicou ao tentar entender suas palavras de modo puro, como na sua cita��o "That's why i'm brazilian"...

I was fine with the whole list but (02 � Awakening ~ Silent Hill Complete Soundtrack) just brought back very very very scary nights of playing Silent Hill games (sits in the corner of the room crying with teddy bear in hand)

Awakening, the final boss from Silent Hill is a scary music. I like it because it is so original. Akira Yamaoka was inspired when composed that music. So, no one can remove it from the list.

Are there some musics to add in the list?
