You put Sarah on ignore, Tanis? Not good, because she is the one who started the shrine.

If I remember correctly that is impossible. Ignoring a mod/admin cant be done last I checked.

Still happening.

Google says a soundtrack page had malware, and I guess Google's policy is to flag the entire domain (forums and all) when something like that happens.

I explained this in the other thread, but of course no one read it.

er? elaborate on what soundtrack page had that? pretty sure you're mistaken; it was a scripting exploit

You only have to disable the warnings in the Preferences in Firefox
Works well!! :)

...First tried adding the page as an exception.. but it didn't work somehow..

What ever happened to the good ol' days of the internet? When everyone would surf the 'net, ignorant to any virus or worm that might invade their system?

You all need to stop being pussies and turn off your virus detectors.

I use FFShrine at work, and I used to have the problem.

Seems to have stopped now.

I usually don't use the Shrine when I'm at home.

I got the google warning today just as I attempted to enter the shrine :(

Yeah, I got the google warning today as well. But my crew of pirates were all like "Avast! The scurvy malwares be gone! Bring out the rum! It's time for celebration, boyos!"

BTW--

...First tried adding the page as an exception.. but it didn't work somehow..
That "Exceptions" thing only has to do with Add-Ons. If you look at the title bar of the dialogue box that comes up when you click on it, it says "Allowed Sites - Add-Ons Installation."

I'm getting a caution window from my antivirus most of the time that I go to galbadia hotel's mp3's, but FFshrine works fine, although sometimes I have a hard time getting into it from some reason.

We've been experiencing some intermittent DNS issues which means that sometimes you might have trouble getting on when using the forums.ffshrine.org address. If that happens, try http://67.19.221.50/~forums/ instead.

(Hello, semi-oldish n00b/lurker here. Feel free to ignore me, I just thought I ought to share what happens each time I visit gh lately.)
Seems every time I go to the gh main page, Avast complains of a malicious swf file/connection and gives me the option to abort. :|

Seems every time I go to the gh main page, Avast complains of a malicious swf file/connection and gives me the option to abort. :|

Same thing just happened to me. Avast detected a trojan within an swf file Galbadia Hotel's frontpage tried to load. I clicked block connection and Avast now blocks that specific swf file and I can surf the site normally it seems.

This seems to be the file in question when I check avast's database (removed t's to avoid it being clickable): h**p://www.1ive.net/css/ver.swf

I hope this helps the site-owners tracking down this continuous virus-warning problem.

Now that I'm posting, let me just extend my gratitude for this site and forum, I've been lurking here for a pretty long time, downloading stuff. You're awesome! :)
