Anybody express a liking for the Harvest Moon series? Although it does take a long time to play, I personally like to play them. There are two new games coming out next month for Harvest Moon; I believer they are Tree of Tranquility for the Wii and Island of Happiness for the DS. They also have goods if you pre-order them, a Harvest Moon cow for the Tree of Tranquility and a chicken for Island of Happiness. What do you think?

I have his game on the SNES. The game itself was kinda cute. I played when I was younger though.

I played HM over an emulator for PSX, I think? It was fun. From what I've seen though, almost all of the games are nearly identical, minus a few changes in your potential wives and the townspeople

Yeah. That makes sense D: I guess my own personally confusion between HM and AC (from a few years ago) was crossing over ;-; Plus, I thought you mean The Sims. AC is a bit more of a Sims-game. But no reason for anyone to get AC & HM mixed up UNLESS THEY ARE ME>

Hey now, they've changed the girls...like...three times! that's two more than one! Personally, I do rather like the series, but only buy it every other release or so.
Also, I really want that cow and chicken preorder stuff.

Man, there is Rune Factory, the sci-fi Harvest Moon, the multiple endings Harvest Moon, the gameboy one where time passes even when you don't play, the puzzle versions, versions where the main character is a chick, the version where you can play as a male or female and have 20 potential spouses to choose from, the one where you rebuild the island...

The original and the N64/PSX versions are super similar, and rehashes of it keep coming out, but there is a LOT out there if you're a fan of the series.

I think your both correct in different ways.

sim games are too time consuming and redundant.
